Completely fixed our "water tap" error that had been popping up for years!! For many years, I have been chasing a "water tap" error on our dishwasher and our dishes... have not been the cleanest. I'd find a thin layer of grit on the sides of pint glasses sometimes, and the lids to the tupperwear always had a greyish water pooled in the corners after a wash. Not confidence inspiring. I tried chaging the filter. I tried doing lots of things to make sure the drain hose was cleared. Nothing fixed it, until this. This is an easy install. It's a tiny bit fiddly to find the right position, but then it snaps in easily and fits perfectly. Seems expensive for a piece of plastic, but do it! This works perfectly. Buy it. Get the original. For a part like this, you need last-millimeter precision for it to work. Our dishwasher now drains perfectly. Our dishes are cleaner than ever and best of all the dreaded "Water-Tap" error message has been gone for weeks now and I don't think it will come back. I feel like it also made the dishwasher quieter, but I may just be imagining that. If you have a water tap error, it worth buying this just to see if it fixes your problem. You probably need one anyway if your dishwasher is 10 years old or older.
