    Faulty product

This product was faulty. The resin was not sealed inside the tube correctly at manufacture. As soon as a The hosepipe was attached and a water supply turned on all the resin simply flushed out of the outlet.

    Its a total waste of money - it does not soften the water

This product has 2 separate listings on Amazon, so I am writing a review under both listings. When I first attached this cartridge to the hose, red water gushed out of it, but that cleared after minute, at which point I put the hose in the skimmer. However, I am half was through filling the hot tub, and tested the water hardness and found that using that product has not made any difference at all, the water is just as hard as it is without this product. It is a con. Do not waste your money.
