Extend HD security cameras up to 1000 feet and more using unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables. Typical HD passive baluns will extend 700ft, however beyond that, signal and color degradation will occur. Our active video balun solves this issue. The HDB-A-100-CABLE is an active video balun that lets installers use existing monitor end video baluns (HD passive or non-HD baluns) for HD or CVBS analog installations. Achieve HD quality video transmitted up to 1000 feet away with a boost of a local power source on the camera end. The balun is compatible with HD-TVI, HDCVI, AHD, and conventional CVBS security cameras.
