Cold LED Dual Gooseneck Lights Microscope Illuminator with Dimmer, 6500K, Cold Light Source, Stable Shadow-free Lighting, Adjustable Brightness & Flexible Direction

Nice and solid build which performs very well. The arms are quite easily flexed and moved yet still hold their final position. The LEDs appear well matched and are identical in colour as near as I can tell; the brightness control is linear and provides good adjustment of both LEDs over the full travel. The light produced from each is a tight circular area with no shadows or other aberrations - just pools of clean, white light. There was an ominous rattling from something inside the packaging, which turned out to be a 3-pin UK to 2-pin Euro adapter, the latter being the fitted connector. I quickly replaced that with a 3-pin UK plug, restoring the earth connection in the process. Delivery was some two weeks earlier than quoted which was a nice surprise. Recommended!

Purchased for use with a microscope. Excellent bright light which is ideal for the job.

The unit is of a solid metal construction and the dials and switches all solid and operates as it should. There is a decent amount of flex in the arms (c. 40cm length) and they hold where they should no matter what angle I position them. I use this for microscopy and for adding extra lighting for 3D scanning so it serves a multitude of purposes. The dual LED lamps are bright at full setting and when I just need a little bit of extra lighting the dials have enough of a range to notice the difference between dim and full brightness. If I can add any criticism, the plug came with a type B plug + a UK adaptor. whilst minor I also wonder whether this has gone through CE type approval. Nevertheless, it works fine so only time will tell how long it will last.

On peut dire que j'ai attendu et désiré cette source de lumière un certain temps. Mais je ne suis pas décu, puissant, réglable et bon marché. Cela à sauvé ma bino dont l'éclairage intégré à rendu l'âme et demande un remplacement prohibitif. J'ai plus de puissance et de possibilité d'éclairage avec cette source : Nickel

Die flexiblen Arme sind stabil genug, um die eingestellte Position zu halten - und wenn man die Möglichkeit hat, das Gerät etwas erhöht zu stellen, sind sie auch lang genug. Leider fehlt jede Beschreibung, so dass nicht festzustellen ist, ob die Arme oder die Lichtquellen ggf. auch auszuwechseln sind,
