Overall, this bottle washer has been a HUGE help for cleaning pump parts (primarily), bottles and teething toys. It's easy to use, quick, and washes well. Initially it worked for a few days, then I started getting white film building up on the machine and my parts which became excessive. I assume it was due to the hard water in my house, even though I was using filtered water. I ran a standard cycle with a vinegar mix (1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water), and it cleared it up. From then on I started using slightly warm tap water (since that's water that's treated through the water softener) and haven't had an issue with film build up since or needed to re-run the vinegar rinse. I contacted customer service and they didn't actually recommend this, but I tried it anyway and it worked great. It dries well, but if any of your parts have an indent (like diaphragms) some water can pool there and won't dry completely, but generally everything is dry when I need it, with the only exception of the Zomee Fit collection cups don't drain/dry well, so it's not great for those, but I don't think any bottle washer would. I resisted getting a bottle washer for about 6mo after my first baby was born, since it seemed unnecessary, but it's an absolute game changer for me pumping while I work from home. I just pop them in the washer after I pump and they're ready by the next pump and I don't have to mess with washing drying myself.

This is the number one product that we recommend for new parents. Our baby arrived one month early and I can tell you that literally the only thing you need when you get home from the hospital with your baby is a bassinet - the hospital gives you everything else that you NEED. This machine is not a necessity for keeping baby alive but this is the top item to improve your quality of life. I had an emergency c section and it was basically my husband taking care of me and our slightly premature baby - this saved so much time so that we could focus on bonding as a family and resting. In the first two months, it’s also important to be sterilizing items too and this means you load it and in less than two hours you are ready to go. We recommend these to every set of friends that shares new pregnancy news and just love ours. Now that our daughter is six months old, we are less reliant on sterilizing bottles but it cleans them, pump parts, and teething toys so quickly. Sure, you don’t technically need this product but I can’t think of any other product that makes life with a baby so much easier from the day you bring them home, than this one. The tabs are not too expensive and this has been easy to keep clean. The cycles are short. Ours drains right into the sink and it takes up only slightly more square footage than a rice cooker. It’s easy enough to use that the grandparents also were able to run it.

We were initially concerned about buying this lesser known brand washer, but it works great. We have used it 2-3 times a day for 2 months with no issues. Fits 6-8 bottles (we do 4 Dr Brown bottles with all the additional parts -the green parts -and 2 Medela pump bottles). Runs fairly quiet. Dries the bottles completely. Easy to maintain, easy to use. Takes 89 minutes for 1 cycle, but I usually take the bottles out with like 20 minutes left on the cycle and they're mostly dry. No milky residue, they are completely clean. Highly highly recommend. Good value option.
