I bought this product to put on the end of my pool pump that I’m using for my 1300 Gallon pond. Definitely, helping with water circulation and this helps with not sucking up my koi.

This is a solid well made product but only if you want to filter marbles, ping pong balls and golf balls. Why are the holes so big? I had so much high hopes for this product and was very disappointed when I opened the first box to see their's no in-built seive for filtering. Now I question the engineering aspect of why it's designed and developed this way. Bummer 😞

Put teflon tape on ghe threads before putting it together. If you want finer screening, go to the hardware store & buy some window screen & zip tie it around this screen. Does what its supposed to do as is.

This is a quality piece of equipment. It’s very hefty and well made. The barbed end fits perfectly on 2” hose. This will be the new intake for the fountain pump in my fish pond. It will get an additional basket around it to keep large leaves away. But this will do most of the work to keeping the water flowing
