Sabe rico el chocolate. En clima caluroso y humedo es un dolor de cabeza. No se derrite como debería y se pone pastoso. No ha sido una excelente opción. Pensé que sería fácil usarlo y no.

So easy! I used this candy to make small roses with SUNKOOL 4 Size Roses Flower Silicone Cake Mould. I don't use my microwave often, and it was kind of packed away, so I tried double boiling at first, but it wasn't really working out. I took out the microwave and melting the candy was easy peasy. I put the candy in a Pyrex measuring cup and ran the microwave 3-4 times in 30 second intervals at 50% power, then stirred and spooned into the moulds. I placed the mould in the freezer and the candy set within 5 mins and the roses came out lovely. After a few tries, I realized that the cooler the melted candy got, the quicker it was to freeze and the nicer the flowers turned out, so maybe let it cool a few mins before you place in the moulds. It tastes exactly as I would expect it to, sweet and pretty artificial, but it's not like it's the main course! It's perfect in small quantities.

These seem to be the best brand of candy melts easily obtainable. I use them when make cake pops. They taste good and look cute--if you can get it to work properly. The candy is not nearly as runny as you would really want (for the purposes of cake pops). I usually lose a few cake pops when the melted product gets too thick and heavy and/or is no longer deep enough. (The cake falls off the lollipop stick into the melt.) Make sure you run the microwave on half power the whole time you are melting these. There is supposedly another product you can buy to make the candy thinner and runnier so that dipping is easier, but I've never tried it. I can usually get just under 20 cake pops from one bag of melts.

As a hobby, I love creating candy "works of art", as I like to say. And after thirty years of trying different brands throughout the years, I prefer to use Wilton Melt n Mold candy melts for the following reasons: A- the glossy, high sheen endures longer B-the shelf life holds up pretty well and retains their shape and color longer despite changes in temperature C- there is very little if any waste, which allows me to accurately anticipate how much I need per recipe or project D- the flavor continues to be consistently vanilla and blends well with additional flavorings that I have added E- I have stored them at room temperature after opening in sealed containers and have found no deterioration F-the smell is delicious and lasts a long time even thru packaging
