Dell 45W Replacement AC Adapter for Dell

This replacement adapter works perfectly. It is compatible with my computer, and is a good value for the money.

This product works perfectly. I was slightly hesitant thinking this AC/DC charger would be aftermarket, but it's Dell branded and worked perfectly for a laptop repair I was performing. The package also arrived sealed in various levels of plastic wrap for safety and durability. It charges my host laptop efficiently while being an amazing value. In tandem with a brand new battery life, this laptop is now refreshed to almost a brand new status.

Worked fine with my laptop, charges quickly and doesn’t get hot. Feels well-made even as a replacement.

The description was accurate. It is exactly what I needed. Very reasonably priced. Arrived 1 day early.

I was pleased that the Dell Laptop charging cord (power strip) appeared to be an authentic DELL part (or a very good look alike). It is working like a champ for the first hour that is.. we will see if it continues to perform. At first I was hesitant about the seller as I rarely if ever buy things on/from AMAZON. So long as there isn't any funny business with my credit card (as during the ordering process it seemed to ask for my CC info too many times) I would buy from this seller again. And I would re-order this part. It was hard to tell which sellers were offering GENUINE DELL parts/charging cords - two of the others ordered are not authentic DELL parts. This one was!

Great AC adapter.

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3583 that I bought in 2019. It was a $249 special, so it is what it is. I had the hard drive replaced 6 months ago with a more powerful, faster hard drive and it's been working great. Then about a month ago the battery stopped charging, and I was getting the error message "AC adaptor/charger not recognized." ??? I had to plug in the laptop to use it. I did some online research and this seemed to be a common issue for Dells, but I couldn't find anyone offering a winning resolution. So I purchased a universal battery for $25 and replaced it. Still didn't charge. Then I purchased this DELL AC adaptor/charger for $20. Still not charging. Then I purchased a DC power jack charging port cable for $7 and replaced it. BAM! LIKE NEW! Not sure if I needed all three, but after pricing new laptops it was well worth the $50 and all 3 items were very easy to replace. As for this DELL charger, there is a nice tight "click" fit with the charger male into the DC adaptor female. The battery charges quickly with this charger. Hope this helps.
