The Holga camera was initially introduced to the Chinese public, in 1982, as an inexpensive camera for everyday use. Shortly after its introduction, it became an underground artistic phenomena. Using the Holga is an exercise in breaking free from dependence on technology, precision and controllability. The slight softness of the images, vignetting and random light leaks produce dream-like, one-of-a kind images. The current Holga 120N is modeled after the original Holga camera and features the improved usability found in the latest generations. ## Features - 2 film masks for either 12- 6x6 cm images or 16- 6x4.5cm images - Shutter Speeds: (N)ormal - 1/100s; (B)ulb - Holds Shutter Open - Apertures: SUNNY - f/11; SHADE/FLASH - f/8 - Hot shoe adapter, Standard Tripod Mount (1/4-20), Uses 120 medium format film - Lens cap, Strap ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B000AL8JKW | | Aspect Ratio | Unknown | | Audio Recording | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 38,749 in Electronics & Photo (See Top 100 in Electronics & Photo) 1 in Medium & Large-Format Film Cameras | | Box Contents | 6x6cm and 6x4.5cm Adapters ,Neck Strap | | Brand Name | Holga | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Camera Film Format Type | 120 | | Compatible Devices | camera | | Continuous Shooting Speed | 30 FPS | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (306) 4.3 out of 5 stars | | Exposure Control | Automatic | | Film Color Type | Colored | | Film Format | 120 | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00614572144125 | | Has Self Timer | No | | Item Dimensions | 25 x 25 x 25 millimetres | | Item Type Name | Holga 120n plastic medium format camera - black. | | Manufacturer | Holga | | Manufacturer Part Number | 144120 | | Maximum Shutter Speed | 0.01 seconds | | Minimum Shutter Speed | 0.01 seconds | | Model Name | Holga 120N Plastic Medium Format Camera – Black | | Model Number | 144120 | | Model Series | 120N | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Product Features | Soft focusing, double-exposure capability, intense vignetting, and unpredictable light leaks | | Self Timer | 10 Seconds | | Shooting Modes | Shutter Priority | | Shutter Type | Focal Plane Shutter | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Upc | 700461904052 614572144125 | | Viewfinder Magnification | 0.45x to 0.5x | | Viewfinder Type | Optical | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Holga - **Compatible devices:** camera - **Film colour:** Colored - **Film format type:** 120 - **Included components:** 6x6cm and 6x4.5cm Adapters ,Neck Strap - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 25 x 25 x 25 millimetres - **Item weight:** 12 Ounces - **Minimum shutter speed:** 0.01 seconds - **Model name:** Holga 120N Plastic Medium Format Camera – Black - **Special feature:** Soft focusing, double-exposure capability, intense vignetting, and unpredictable light leaks ## Images ![120N Medium Format Film Camera Plastic Lens Black Body - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61TOqBhh+UL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Colour Name** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 March 2022* read about the camera on internet and the modifications to be carried out ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun little thing *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 January 2023* If this is the first analogue camera you are going to get, please do bare in mind that this is a medium format camera (120mm) rather than the more common 35mm. This means that film is more expensive, takes less pictures, and is more difficult to find than normally. These Holga 120s were originally manufactured as a cheap and simple product to be exported to China in the 1980s, and are still being manufactured today, hence this. They're cheap plastic things that feel more like a toy camera often, but are liked for the bad image quality you get out of it: Light leaks, vignettes, and you're usually out of focus. If bad image quality or a nostalgic feel like that is what you're looking for, or you're an enthusiast for photography and like playing around with this sort of thing, I'd recommend this. If it's a present for someone who doesn't like that sort of thing, I wouldn't.An added plus is that due to the very simple mechanism of this device double exposure is actually really easy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ How do I place the AA batteries in??? *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 April 2023* There is no place to put the batteries, its all plastic ## Frequently Bought Together - Holga 120N Plastic Camera - FocusFoto YINYAN CY-20 Universal Hot Shoe On-Camera Flash Speedlite Electronic Speedlight with Sync Port for Nikon Canon Panasonic Olympus Pentax Alpha Digital DSLR Camera Flash Light - Kodak 120 Portra 400 Film --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/65848925-120n-medium-format-film-camera-plastic-lens-black-body](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/65848925-120n-medium-format-film-camera-plastic-lens-black-body) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
