Mellow Lollipops

I keep a bin in my pantry filled with healthy candy for my grandsons. They call these the "smart suckers." I tell them about what is in them, and they enjoy thinking they are eating something healthy. They belong to a family that works out in the gym, does martial arts, and runs, and these fit right into their healthy lifestyle. And I have to admit, I've sneeked one a time or two just because they taste nice. I'm not sure how it affects sleep, but it makes us happy to be eating something good for us.

These are amazing. They taste good, my adhd child loves them and they do make a difference in mood. I personally take Ltheinine for stress so I like this being the main supplement here and we find it very effective. In my experience both with myself and child, it’s not super long lasting, but good to have right before something that is known to be stress inducing.

Kind of a strange taste. My problem is there is soooo many. It’s the vitamin content that’s appealing

I wish I could give these 5 stars, because we really do love the product! My kids are sensitive to dyes and sugar, so this is a good option to replace when we get haircuts and they try to give our kids dumdums. I don’t notice it helping them stay calm but they don’t go nuts like they do with regular candies. However….. BE CAREFUL!! Some suckers have detached from the stick, which is a HUGE choking hazard! This is why I am writing a review, because our 4 year old choked this morning on a loose sucker. It was a very very scary situation, but he is fine after some back blows and throwing up. We have found several in the package that are already undone, and had just planned to give those while supervising closely. We may just have them ourselves and make sure the suckers we do give are securely attached to the stick. I hope Ollie sees this review and does a little better on the quality check so that another child doesn’t choke!

I'm sure there is some placebo effect at play with our kids, but it does help them calm down to know that I'm trying to do something to help. They love the taste and I love the ease of delivery -- something other than a gummy or a liquid.

I think these helped my child cognitive function go up. So I'm now trying the other flavor, strawberry. She diagnosed with echolalia. She kept doing that in which if you ask her something she could only repeat what you asked in the same words instead of answering. She had these and then all of a sudden she now can answer appropriately and have more conversational speech. So we definitely trying another box of these. Thanks this makes me more confident in my child speech development and overall cognitive function.

These are anabsolute lifesaver for my son! When he is having a difficult moment, we give him a "calm down lollipop" and they really help him to calm down in the moment. I am so sad they have been discontinued!

I’m giving 1 star because I cannot attest to their calming qualities as my kids thought they were disgusting. I tried one and they aren’t great. I’m not sure how to really describe the flavor. The one I tried was I guess similar to a grape flavor vitamin with a strong vitamin taste. Not the worst thing ever. Just not great. The kids won’t touch them, so that was a bummer. They even like children’s gummy vitamins so it’s not just the vitamin flavor. There’s just a strong taste that none of us enjoyed.
