Do not mount it in the wrong places of a vehicle

Solid mount
Good quality Mount. The threads in the amount are well cut and more precise than other cheaper amounts thus minimizing cross threading. I would purchase again if and when needed. I have run 4 foot loaded CB antenna, Ham stick type antennas and 102 inch stainless steel whip for CB and the amount has handled all of them.

Good antenna base
Installed this on my ARB bumper upper mounting tabs and it fit very well. Need to compromise on location no fault of the antenna base as i had limited mounting options. Slight over hang but majority of the base is on the tab. The base has held up very well as the bumper flexes a lot while driving and the vibration didn't negatively affect the structural integrity. Paired it with a Firestick 24 inch CB antenna and I am getting 1.6 SWR. Bought second unit in case I need another strong CB antenna base.

I wanted to upgrade from my old lil will. I drilled a hole in the centre of the trunk of my 99’ Camry and set this guy in. I’m using a 55 inch Hustler HQ-27 antenna on this mount, with a Cobra 29, the same age as my car. The mount is well made and works good. I’m glad I bought this. 73’s
