FORTEM Trunk Organizer - Foldable Car Organizer & Storage for SUVs & Trucks

There are so many trunk organizers available on Amazon that it is difficult to make a decision on which one to buy. I believe I made a good choice with this one from Fortem. Not so big that it fills up the cargo space, but big enough to store the items that I want to keep in the car. You have two large spaces available when it it completely unfolded. One of these can be divided with the Velcro divider that splits the area in half. I also like the cover that lets you keep the contents out of sight. It comes with one stiff bottom panel that holds the space open. Since I plan on using both sides, it would have been nice to have a second one of these panels. It is nice looking and seems to be sturdy and well made. It sticks to the carpeted area of the floor and also has two straps with clips that allow you to keep it in place. I am pleased with my purchase and if my wife wants one for her car I would buy this again.

This is a sturdy organizer despite what some of the negative reviews say. I don't know what they purchased, but it wasn't this one. We bought one two years ago for the truck and it's worked very well. We just bought a second one for the SUV and it's exactly as the first...nothing changed. So I don't know why some reviews said it's different. This will hold a lot of groceries, as this is what we use it for. The side walls are stiff and don't collapse; and with the bottom panels installed, the bottom is stiff and sturdy.. The inner dividers are softer, but with all three of them installed, they don't collapse either. The only cheaply made thing is the cover. The ad pics make it look rigid and it's not. It's just a large piece of material that's attached with velvro on both the long sides to cover everything. It is very flimsy and we do not use it. Not because it's cheap, but because we just don't want to cover the organizer. If you're interested in a great trunk organizer, buy this one...it's worth it.

This is well made and very easy to set up. Once set up, it is very easy to disassemble for use in another vehicle or sturdy enough to take with you as needed. This is easy to fold up, and with the ample room and pockets makes organization even better. There are different colors to choose from. I got the Blue to match my car.

Seems really useful and sturdy. Would have been a five but some parts were missing and they never answered my email to the address they provided in the packaging.

Very convenient way to organize the back of your suv. I love the mesh pockets along both sides and the straps to secure it so it doesn’t slide around while driving. Great fit for me!

This organizer is well made, the design works and the product accomplishes it's goal, which is to put order to normally unruly plastic shopping bags. Here are the things about the organizer that I like. -It easily folds down compact and lies flat and out of the way when "knocked down". Once its set up, I really don't see a reason to knock it down unless the entire rear area is needed for hauling. I leave this set up in the rear of my wife's SUV. - When set up, it's sturdy and it's compartments are just the right size for individual plastic grocery bags filled to capacity. The large compartment, when using the dividers, will hold two plastic grocery bags. - The dividers are easy to move as needed and once placed, strong enough to hold the bags in place. I can see how some would move the divider often, based upon the size of what you are carrying. - It has a non skid pad on the corners on the underside, so when its set on the carpet, it doesn't slide around. - It has two adjustable tie down straps, in addition to the well placed tie down hooks on the sides. I haven't needed to use the tie downs but they are handy. Also, when not used the tie downs are out of the way, hanging on the ends. - There are pouches on the sides, which are handy to keep items such as small hand tools, etc. so they aren't inside the unit, but still easy to retrieve when you want to keep the stuff together. - The height of the side walls of the unit are tall enough to do their job, but not wastefully tall which wouldn't really serve any purpose. - It's nice to use a product which obviously was designed by someone who uses it and who refined it to make it as beneficial as possible to the end user and buyer. What would I change about the organizer? At first I wondered if it would be large enough, but having used it several times, it has held up to 6 plastic bags of items from the store. I guess if your shopping trips involve large volume purchases, order two of these so you have enough room for the things being hauled home. It's nice to set gallons of milk in the organizer and slide the divider over and have them sitting right where you put them when you get home. In the past, prior to the organizer, the gallons of milk would be rolling around in the back before getting home. Not any more. They stay where you put them, which I would say is the entire point of the organizer...... This organizer product does just what it is supposed to do. It gives you a place to transport grocery bags so when you get home, the contents are actually in the bags and not all over the back of the SUV. We used to tie all of the bags shut to keep them contained, which often means trashing the bags to get them open. Now, you can just stand them in the organizer and that's right where they will be when you get where you are going. It was a good deal made even better because it was on Amazon's Daily deals at 50% off. I should have bought two of them.......

So, I, like many buyers on the site, obsess over the reviews posted for items on Amazon. They definitely make or break the deal. I can see a product I feel like I'd absolutely love; but, if there's a particular negative review that points out some random issue, I'll spend a good twenty minutes re-thinking my decision and scrolling through the rest of the reviews feverishly in a need to assure myself that I'm making the right decision. I noticed that a common complaint with this product was that it wasn't sturdy enough (as in it didn't hold its shape/stand on its own properly), and the material was sub-par. So I was a little wary at first, especially because the product claimed to have been updated but I couldn't tell whether the negative review(s) I read were about the new version or the old one. I went with my gut and bought this product (I had already bought the Back Seat Organizer [ Premium Quality Backseat Car Organizer With Bonus Kick Mat Seat Back Protector By RoadPal With Built-In iPad/Tablet Holder Cargo Storage For Baby Stroller & Kid Travel Accessories Toys Bottles Books ] from this same company a few days before and absolutely loved it too, so I figured I could trust the seller). SO YES, THIS IS REVIEWING THE NEW, UPDATED VERSION OF THE ORGANIZER, W/THE WATERPROOF COVER INCLUDED. I absolutely love this organizer! It's not too big and fits nicely in my Nissan Sentra. It seems to be pretty well-built, definitely good quality, especially for the price paid (yay for the update!) The side pockets are sturdy, some are a bit tight but they're meant to hold slimmer items, so that means things won't fall out so easily. Two sturdy 'panels' are included to place on the bottom of the large compartments, to keep the organizer standing and hold its shape; also, an additional, optional smaller panel is included that attaches to the walls of one inside compartment with velcro (which is what makes it 3 compartments instead of two; again, it's optional, if you want two big compartments then just don't use it). All of these pieces (the velcro-attachable panel and two sturdy panels) can be removed and left standing in the organizer when folded up for storage. I like the folding storage feature, that way if I don't need it but want to keep it in the car, I can easily fold up the organizer and put it off to the side (and I don't have to worry about it unfolding, because there are plastic snap clips that hold the organizer together when folded). I probably won't use the 'waterproof cover' that's included with the packaging (it's basically just a sheet of nylon material that goes over the top with holes for the handles, not necessary in my small car; maybe for carrying out in the rain?) but it's a nice addition. Also, love the little adhesive pad that comes with the organizer, it seems pretty strong; I'll stick it on my dash later. I put some items in the organizer for size comparison (some of which were bought on Amazon, links down below). Overall, nice product, well-made and definitely useful! I bought this storage bag to organize my cleaning supplies for my cleaning business. I was looking for something more convenient and easier to use than bulky plastic storage bins. Buying this has completely transformed my car, it used to be a mess but with this, everything is organised. The grippy base and straps provided prevents it from sliding and stops the rustling which was previously there when I didn’t have one. It is very spacious and can carry my weekly shop in one trip with ease.

Car boot was a mess. This boot organiser is excellent. Sturdy construction and can fold down, when not in use. It has harness straps that clip to boot securing points. Bottom is solid and has velcro underneath that sticks to boot liner and stops any movement. I carry a lot of tools as car is older. This storage holder is ideal with adjustable compartments. Delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend.

This is a brilliant organiser. Strong, sturdy handles, plenty of room for all sorts of gadgets. Folds up to half the size, handy for extra shopping.
