![Transformers One [4K UHD Steelbook + Blu-Ray+ Digital Copy]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81go-DlsEoL.jpg)

Eons ago, Optimus Prime and Megatron were known as Orion Pax (voiced by Chris Hemsworth) and D-16 (Brian Tyree Henry), humble miner robots trying to sustain their people's subterranean existence, and dreaming of leading their return to Cybertron's ravaged surface. They'd get their chance-and the perilous quest that saw their friendship fissure into enmity is chronicled in this anticipated animated origin story. With the voices of Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Jon Hamm. 104 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English. Review: One of the best Transformers movies ever made. - I've seen all these Transformers movies. From the 1986 film to the Bay movies. But this film, beats them all. Just like Transformers Bumblebee, this film features a small main cast while having a large supporting group. The main players are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Elita-1 and Megatron. This movie is meant to be a prequel to the Bay movies. Taking place when Optimus Prime was Orion Pax and Megatron was D-16. Two mining robots, best friends, but were destined for greatness though they would take separate paths. Orion Pax would eventually become Optimus Prime while D-16 would become Megatron. The film has an excellent story, great voice-overs, music, humor, atmosphere, and CGI. Lots of action. The story about how two best friends are ultimately broken up because of how they want Cybertron to become. Megatron want's peace through tyranny, while Optimus wants peace and freedom for all. Unlike the previous films, there are no humans! Finally, this is all about the robots. The disc set comes with the 4K and 1080p discs as well as the digital films. You can watch the digital film in either 4K or 1080p. Paramount released the movie after the summer was over, which was a huge mistake, as the film did awful in the theaters. It got excellent reviews from critics and viewers. Had it been released in June or July, it probably would've been a huge hit. Since it flopped, Paramount has decided not to continue but rather make another live action movie, though it will be with the same director who did this movie. In the end, I bought the film and I enjoyed it. This film, the 1986 and Bumblebee, are my favorite Transformer movies. Review: Great case. Great movie. - Steelbook casing looks great. Highly underrated movie. Great for kids and Transformers fans. It's nice to have a 4K copy that isn't based on streaming.

The BEST Transformers Movie of All Time!
Transformers One is an energetic, hilarious, inspiring origin story for Optimus Prime and Megatron. It's a zero-to-hero story that deftly balances drama and humor as well as pacing and world-building. While it's not the most complex or nuanced movie you've ever seen, for an origin-story CGI-animated action-adventure, it's pretty much as perfect of a movie as you could want. I'm an OG Transformers fan, as I was eight when the first G1 toys came out in the US. I loved the cartoon as a kid and saw Transformers: The Movie in theaters. TF: The Movie had great moments, but it really wasn't a great movie. Sure, we all got the big final showdown with Welker's Megatron and Cullen's Optimus Prime, and we had the inspiringly cheesy 80s music to jam to, but the movie's second act was bloated and boring--be honest. Transformers One is a better movie than TF: The Movie '86. The voice acting is top-notch (although lacking the classic voices forty years later--go figure!), the animation is spectacular, and the story is rock solid. My teenaged son and I laughed many times, but unlike stinkers like Thor: Love and Thunder, Transformers One knows when to crack a joke and when to take itself seriously. As a result, we were fully able to take the serious parts seriously and laugh at jokes that were actually funny. While I was anxious to see "final form" Optimus and Megatron, I was never, ever bored in this movie. The 4K disc provides beautiful HDR picture and immersive Atmos sound. The package also includes a blu-ray disc, which too many media companies are omitting these days. All-in-all, this was the best entertainment value per dollar that my famiy has had in years and years--since the glory days of the MCU, really.

The Transformer Movie Diehard Fans Deserve!
I had heard very little buzz about this movie leading up to it’s theatrical run and it seems it went largely unnoticed upon it’s release, which is a shame given that it’s an absolute gem of a film! I had decided to give it a chance after watching a positive review from a trusted YouTube channel and purchased this 4K release to watch with my grandkids, and well, we all thoroughly enjoyed it! For the record, I am a child of the ‘80s and grew up watching all of the after school cartoons (including Transformer) so I do have a built-in affinity for the franchise, but honestly, this is the best Transformers movie I’ve seen since “Transformers: The Movie” in 1986! The plot is completely accessible for new fans and old, thanks to the solid storytelling, and the animation is stunning! This really is the best medium to tell a Transformer’s story through, nothing against the live action movies that preceded it (although, I’m not a fan of many of those past Michael Bay’s first outing), the digital animation just opens up possibilities unattainable with the limitations of current CGI and real world settings. Plus, we finally have a movie about the robots themselves without any human side characters! I won’t spoil the story, as it is well worth your time to experience first hand, but I will say that the 4K video and Dolby Atmos audio knocked it out of the park! Give it a chance if you love all things that are ‘more than meets the eye’!

great prequel
I enjoyed the Transformers One movie. I never got around to seeing this movie last year in theaters, when I didn't have enough money to see it. And now that I have it, I love the animation of this movie and the story of how Orion Pax became Optimus Prime.

ONE Steelbook.
Transformers One 4k steelbook. Really fun film. I watched it on the big screen and I wanted to add this “one” to my collection. I was lucky to snag the steelbook edition from Amazon in excellent condition. I’m looking forward to listening to the Dolby Atmos sound on my home theater.
