I have been shaving my head with various razor blades for the last 20 years. I finally decided to go the electric razor route because I was sick of the process, cuts, and irritation. I came across the Pit Bull line while conducting some research. I did not want to spend too much money, but I also wanted to go with something that received solid reviews. I watched a number of videos reviews to make a decision. I chose to purchase the PitBull Gold. I have been using the PB Gold since early June. For weeks, I was shaving dry and I was very pleased. I had both the 3 blade and 4 blade attachments. While it was not as close as an actual razor blade, I was happy because I could shave anywhere and it saved me a ton of time. I came across the Carver 5 Head Blade and invested in that replacement blade. It actually made quite a difference and I was getting an even better shave than with the 3 or 4 bladers. Early on, I started wetting my face and head slightly before shaving and that helped improve the results. About a week ago, I decided to add shaving cream to the routine. I highly recommend that anyone who has not used shaving cream to immediately do it. I have been getting a nice, clean shave that rivals a shave with a regular 6 blade razor. Couldn't be happier and I'm done in about 1-2 minutes. Easy clean up and I save a bunch of time. Overall Quality - It's light and does not seem very sturdy, but as long as you do not drop it, clean it regularly, and do not submerge the entire unit in water, this should last. You have to take care of things and they'll take care of you. Battery Life - EXCELLENT. I can go weeks without charging this if I want to. I only use a few % of charge for each shave. I shave every day. Shave Quality - Very good dry or wet. Highly recommend using shaving cream combined with the Carver 5 Blade Replacement blade. This has given me the closest shave. Irritation: Little to none on my head and face. The only irritation I experience is on the lower part of my neck, both the back and the front. Otherwise, no nicks, very little irritation. Recommendation: If you don't mind spending $100 plus, I recommend this to anyone who is looking to be rid of razor blades. The PB Gold has been great. I suggest buying the Carver Replacement (5) Blade for best results.

This was solid and shaved fantastic super easy and fast shave had no skin irritation after use

I use a pitball gold and this new head does a much better job than original head that came with the shaver. My only gripe is, I don't think there is a possible way to clean it. Seems as though it's supposed to be disposable.

I shave my head daily with this blade on a skull shaver pro. The blade works very well to trim my head it is not as easy to shave my face because of the blades over size and curved shape. It does do both and i clean daily with soap and water. Keeps sharp and does hold an edge. I will buy again

I have used th Skull Shaver for quite some time and I am quite happy with it. This product is the replacement head for the shaver itself. It was very easy to replace. No hassle at all. It performs as well as the original head with a smooth shave every time with no nicks. Keeps my head shaved close each day. Would recommend this product

While the product was 'ok', the quality feel was lack-luster. Also, I can relate to a previous review stating how the spring part of assembly came apart and was too much of a hassle putting back together, and wound up throwing it away. I found myself doin the same. The 'fifth' shaving head was never accessible and just added to the frustration when cleaning. I suspect it was not a real head. The original Pitbull 4-headed shaving attachment is much better in all ways, accessibility, cleaning, and performance. Sorry guys, truth be told.

I have probably a ten year old or more silver pit bull and this replacement brought it back to life. Works well with oem quality. Shaves well. Easy to clean.
