Everything feels premium from packaging to quality of paper used for manuals when compared with regular technic sets. As a previous LEGO Technic builder I'm definitely sure this one's gonna be a surreal experience, best of all.

As a fan of both LEGO Technic and supercars, the LEGO Technic McLaren P1 Hypercar building set has been an absolute joy to assemble and admire. I've spent a significant amount of time immersed in this project, and the building experience from start to finish was truly great. This set delivers on all fronts, providing an incredibly rewarding and mindful building challenge. The attention to detail in replicating the real-world McLaren P1 is remarkable. From the intricate V8 piston engine with its moving pistons to the functional 7-speed gearbox with a working shifter drum, every component is meticulously designed and integrated. I particularly enjoyed assembling the working features like the opening dihedral doors and the adjustable rear wing, which add a fantastic level of authenticity and interactivity to the finished model. All the parts are great quality, fitting together perfectly and contributing to the satisfying solidity of the build. The finished 1:8 scale model is not just a toy; it's a stunning collectible display piece that beautifully captures the essence of the McLaren P1. The inclusion of a unique serial number tile is a brilliant touch that adds to its exclusivity and provides access to interesting online content, just like the actual car. For any adult LEGO builder, supercar enthusiast, or Formula 1 fan, this set comes highly recommended. It offers a deep, engaging building experience and results in an impressive, display-worthy model.
