Garmin Edge Explore 2, Easy to Use GPS Cycling Navigator, Compatible with eBike, Maps and Navigation, with Safety Features

I have this device and I find it very difficult to navigate and the small screen makes it difficult to view the map, and it is also very slow to search for addresses or connect to satellites. This device is made of plastic and possibly fragile.

I have been cycling with various versions of bike computers for many years. This unit is capable of working with newer, more recent bike tech such as mobile phone connectivity for others following you while riding, adding devices such cadence/speed sensors, radars, lights, etc. While this doesn't have the level of analytics if you are into higher end / more intense training, but all the basics are there and then some. GPS is excellent, and tracking routes, etc. works fine. No live Strava for those who wish to have that, but you will pay much more for those kinds of features. The screen is incredibly easy to read in direct sunlight, and while this isn't cheap, as a dedicated device, it handles the job. Some might prefer a mobile phone app option, but then you could be limited to things such as lower screen brightness, limitations on sensor connectivity, faffing between apps, etc. For the money, this has been a great riding companion - especially for my riding habits which are get out on the road or gravel path, ride for an hour or two and

So far so good. Pleasant to look at and works well. NO complaints.

Does everything it needs to. It isn't the best for routing on the device (it tends to dump you on dangerous roads), but it makes a great routing device overall despite that issue. The screen is easy to read even in mid-day when a phone would be basically impossible to see.

Bei der Menüführung, findung, Steuerung brauchte ich ne Weile aber komme nun nach meinem nutzen gut zurecht. Die Navigation klappt schnell und präzise und mit den piepen für Hinweise verpasst man auch keine Abbiegung oder Warnungen. Das Display lässt sich für mich auch mit niedriger Helligkeit und Sonnenbrille gut erkennen und Akku hält somit absolut ausreichend lang, so weit muss man erstmal fahren wollen bis der Akku leer geht. Super Preis Leistung, absolut empfehlenswert für große Touren oder kleine sportliche Runs
