Vergnano is a premium espresso with a smooth, hearty taste evidencing perfectly roasted arabica beans.

Very good solid espresso.
I have been normally drinking this coffee at Eataly around the world or in Italy and I did not know until recently that Amazon was selling it. Lately I have been drinking the Lavazza Professional line like Top Class and Grande Riserva or Blue Bottle Espresso, which are very good coffees, this one is a little better for my taste. I did my first cup at home using a KitchenAid espresso maker the latest model, and using the same grinder setting that I was using for the beans mentioned above and it came out just perfect with a lot of crema, a good density and flavor with zero acidity or bitterness. Also, the price is similar to the Lavazza's and less expensive of Blu Bottle and illy, so i think i will keep this on my subscription.

Not my favorite
This is not my favorite Italian espresso. I find the flavor slightly muted and a bit too bitter. These are mass produced blends sold at a boutique price.

Smooth and so good
Delicious. I was hesitant because of the price, but it’s worth it. Smooth, creamy, has a great head and the smell is amazing! I think this is worth the price!

Really liked the flavor of these. Great crema, too. Just wish I could get them a little closer to the roast date. But overall, really enjoyed the espresso I made with these.

Super tasty - medium strong taste but very smooth.
There used to be a Caffe Vergnano coffee shop on Charing Cross road which was without a doubt the best coffee in London - these beans don't quite recreate that experience but they're amazing. We have a bean to cup machine that grinds on demand and it works brilliantly. Make sure you have a clip to seal the bag as the oils evaporate quickly.

Depuis que j’ai découvert le Vergnano 1882 Espresso, c’est devenu mon café préféré. L’arôme est intense et raffiné, avec un équilibre parfait entre force et douceur. Chaque tasse offre une crema onctueuse et un goût riche qui reste en bouche, sans amertume. Que ce soit le matin pour bien démarrer la journée ou après un repas, c’est toujours un vrai moment de plaisir. Une valeur sûre pour tous les amateurs d’espresso authentique.

My first, and will be my only purchase of this coffee. The price and the shipping time was fine, but flavour wise, it was very disappointing. Very average. I think you will have to pay more for something special.
