Edited 2025-01-18: OK - it was all my fault. I give this really cool printer 5 stars with no reservation. When the printer first clogged and jammed the port in the back of the ACE Pro, I reassembled it wrong. Watching a video on checking and clearing that part I noticed I did not have the ports aligned correctly. I opened it up and properly aligned the ports then reassembled. After that I've been printing successfully all day, making several prints with no problems or errors. Edited 2025-01-17: Working with tech support, removed the ACE Pro and fed filament from the attached reel. Everything works great. Now to find out what's up with the ACE Pro, it's a requirement for me for multi-color prints. Edited 2025-01-14: No idea what happened, but a couple days ago while printing a 4-color model, one of the ports in the back of the ACE jammed. Cleaned that out, now the hotend jams constantly. After printing, the filament is broken off just above where the filament enters the tube leading to the hotend. I clean it out, it jams on the next extraction. Clean it out, breaks again. Logged a support ticket, still waiting to hear from them. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Not new to 3D Printing, but definitely not an expert. This is my 3rd printer and I'm very happy with it. Unlike some other reviewers that said they were up and running in 20 minutes, it took me about 3 hours. There was some housecleaning and rearranging that had to be done that slowed things down, but honestly it took me about 15 minutes just to get it out of the box. It is packed in there pretty tightly with the ACE unit and takes some maneuvering to unpack it. I must say it is well packed. When the delivery person was bringing it to the door, one of the cutout handles on the side tore and it took a tumble of maybe 18 inches or so. I caught it on my doorbell camera. I checked that area when I unpacked it and nothing was amiss. After I got it and the ACE unit assembled, I went through the setup process and then printed the Shark Bottle Opener and that little tugboat, both in PLA. It was old PLA at that, a bit brittle in some places. The models printed perfectly, and I couldn't believe the speed. It's FAST! I've made a few designs of my own and made multicolor prints that have come out perfectly. I'm having a bit of a problem with some small parts that aren't sticking and became blobs. I'll change the adhesion method and try again. I want to add, I first bought the Bambu A1 Combo. While waiting for delivery I did lots of research and found the restrictions on various types of filaments caused me to change my mind and get the Anycubic. The Bambu was returned unopened. Another note, not directly the printer but dfinitely related....the slicer is a different type that I had not used before. As I said, I'm far from an expert, but this slicer has some very different ways of doing things that has caused lots of delay in building models.

Christmas present for 13 year old son. He loved setting it up and the initial print was great. Then it failed twice in a row with an error message. We had to replace the printer head. Contacting Anycubic does not work - there is no confirmation that the request was submitted and no response. Went through Amazon to work with Anycubic to get a replacement part. Took two weeks. More error messages every day but my son keeps problem solving (good for him but wish it were easier). The printer will not print the stated height, however, and anything above three inches just stops. Then the printer head failed again. This is all in a one month window of use. We are returning the product and going to try a different brand.

This unit works great but color printing is sadly very wasteful. Think about what you are going to print very carefully and try to use as few layers as possible and few colors... Probably calibrate your purge carefully to reduce 75% of your waste. The cutter on the Kobra 3 cuts high so all that filament has to be purged and a new color is fed in, the new filament has to purge the remnant color out of the nozzle so a tall project might have 1000 layers which means each color change needs a purge... 8 colors per layer times 1000 layers and you will waste spools of PLA in printer poop. I've filled bags and it's all over the floor as the Kobra 3 just flings poop off the side into the room. Etsy has a poop deflector you can print for a few bucks but it's design could be improved so the poop don't get stuck under the bed. The printer works great but if you need to print 8 colors, make sure to buy the adapter that feeds 8 colors to the head and try not to print your own as it will break in the middle of a project and you will be stuck... The 8 port adapter is $15 and injection molded where as PLA isn't made for the stress the 8 tubes will put on it. I broke 3 printed adapters before I edited the STL to make the walls thicker and reinforce the adapter body... The 8 port adapter wasn't available at the time I purchased this and they offered a free STL for the adapter on the Anycubic wiki page. Works in a pinch. I love the clean printing and how well the colors come out but hate the wasted PLA. Would buy again. I have 2 Ace pro units...why don't they sell a 8 color combo kit?? They would sell alot more of these!

This is an excellent purchase I love it a lot my review on it is quite simple I already had three other printers so I'm not new to this at all it's very nice to have a good printer and combo package as it comes for the price the only one thing I really don't like about it is I can't really do TPU through it I even try to do it on a single roll by itself instead of using machine cuz you can't it still don't work I can't get it to print TPU so I use my QDI one q1 pro to do all my TPU on it works excellent but this printer is good for a startup I would say it's pretty close to the bamboo lab it's just a little bit more features are good about it but I would definitely recommend this to anyone starting out is a good start to start out with this machine to get you printing in no time if you're printing multiple colors full colors at once don't think it's going to be done in 5 minutes prepared for an overnight print it would definitely look nice in the morning it was surprised you when you get up to look at it if you're printing single colors you're pretty quick and getting it done maybe even 30 minutes to an hour but multicolored you'll look at it a lot longer more color more time more filament poop

Great printer, very easy to set up, good slicing program. Spool feeder is good but it is built for the larger spools, would have been better if it would have came with a bracket or if it would adjust to the smaller spools. That is why I gave the over all value 4 stars.
