Difficult to fit
The holes in the strike plate only give about 0.5mm clearance for the bolts in the lock. This means they have to be lined up with superhuman accuracy or the lock will not work. This could be INCREDIBLY easily resolved by making the hole a couple of mm bigger. To get them to work I had to file out the holes to make them bigger which took a lot of extra time and effort

Good Quality Good Value
This one strike plate will fit many different old lock design options. It fixed my faulty old clapped out strike plate problem, meaning I didn’t need to replace the whole lock which would have involved additional woodwork to the door.

Does the job
The strike plate in my office got bent out of shape so needed a replaced and got this nickel one. The plate is finished well and the edges are rounded out so it isn't sharp at all. Measurement wise it was spot on and was easy to install without having to adjust anything on the doorframe. 5/5
