Great product, looks great, nice and bright. I was a little gutted to see it was just a single stip of lights in the centre, with frosted plastic being used to disperse the light, however for the price, I guess you can’t complain.

Love it. Works well. Have twinkly lights on my tree and string lights round the room.

As someone else mentioned, the advert pictures are slightly misleading as there’s only one row of highly visible LEDs. It would be so much better if the LEDs were hidden and the outer layers of the star glowed with the applied effect. It does look good, but had higher expectations due to the pictures.

A bit fiddly to put on as its strapped to the top of the tree with a metal plate and cable ties but once its on it feels pretty solid and stable. Pairs perfectly with other Twinkly light products to create almost seamless transitions from Star to string lights once you get it set up which can be difficult when your doing the scan with your phone as the leds are very bright and can wash out the individual leds which the app needs to see to map them. Had to take about 10 or 15 maps from all sorts of angles and different distances to get enough green 'mapped' lights. Also be aware that this item will require a usb c plug adapter as one is NOT included so add one to your shopping list if you don't have a spare usb phone charger knocking about.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Pretty! I have no way to know how long the topper will continue, but so far, it’s terrific.

This Twinkly tree topper definitely looks and feels premium straight out of the box. The build quality is solid, the materials feel high-end, and once it’s lit up the colours are vibrant and smooth, just as you’d expect from Twinkly. The app control works well too, and it integrates nicely with a smart home setup. However, I do think the product images are a bit misleading. From the photos, it really looks like the star has multiple layers of LEDs or a more complex, multi-depth lighting effect. In reality, there’s only a single layer of LEDs running around the outline, which makes it look much simpler in person than the pictures suggest. Had the listing shown a more accurate representation, my expectations would have been different. It’s not that the topper is bad — it’s actually lovely to look at — but for the cost, I genuinely expected something a bit more impressive or intricate. If you’re buying it purely for the Twinkly ecosystem and the app features, you’ll probably be happy. But if you’re expecting the dramatic, multi-layered star shown in the images, you may come away slightly underwhelmed. A good product, beautifully made, but be aware that the visuals in the listing don’t quite match the real-world effect.

Den gör precis som man förväntar sig. Lyckas inte få den att samspela helt i tempo med gardinen (från samma tillverkare) jag klätt granen med om jag kör samma tema. Men det ser fortfarande fantastiskt ut. Stjärnan i toppen på granen är ju ett sådant ornament som ska sticka ut.

L étoile a vraiment transformé la décoration de mon sapin. Les LED sont très lumineuses et les effets proposés dans l’application sont super variés. On peut choisir des animations douces ou beaucoup plus dynamiques, et le rendu est vraiment impressionnant une fois les lumières éteintes. L’installation est simple : on branche en USB-C, on connecte à l’app, et tout fonctionne rapidement. J’apprécie aussi la possibilité de synchroniser le topper avec d’autres guirlandes Twinkly, ce qui donne un effet parfaitement cohérent sur l’ensemble du sapin. Le design est élégant, la qualité est au rendez-vous, et l’effet “star lumineuse animée” apporte vraiment quelque chose en plus. Seul petit point à prévoir : l’adaptateur secteur USB-C n’est pas fourni, donc il faut en avoir un sous la main. En résumé, un produit esthétique, moderne et très fun à utiliser. Un vrai coup de cœur pour apporter une ambiance magique à Noël.

Auch die Sprachsteuerung funktioniert einwandfrei. Egal ob Alexa oder Google Home – ein kurzer Sprachbefehl und die Baumspitze leuchtet genau so, wie man es möchte. Die Verarbeitung ist stabil, der Stern sitzt sicher auf der Baumspitze und wirkt trotz der Technik sehr elegant. Für uns ein echtes Premiumprodukt und jeden Cent wert.
