Sand Free is probably to agressive for the plastic chrome **Q: Will this work for the textured Sail panels for my Avalanche?** A: I used it on the fenders/trim on a jeep wrangler and it worked very well. To answer your question it depends on exactly what kind if plastic you want to paint. SEM has a good website. Look up what plastic your sail panels are made from and see if SEM lists it as one that this works on. Just make sure to paint it while it is still wet with this solvent. **Q: What is the difference between this and their other plastic adhesion promoters?** A: I haven't used mine yet, however, it is recommended in this paint system and I have seen the results when the instructions are followed as directed by the manufacturer.
