As the other reviewer said: It's a star! It absolutely is! BUILD QUALITY You know what? It's pretty good. It's plastic. But not a cheap plastic, it's slightly heavier than I thought it would be. It is still light but it does have a slight weight to it which is always nice. The cable itself is the perfect size and is very durable. I've tried twisting it and yanking it and it stays in the same place no matter what I do. It's a very solid product indeed. SOUND Well, I know some people out there, past me being one of them, thinks that the volume or sound quality will be reduced due to the number of listeners. Nope. The sound quality is 100% as well as the volume no matter how many of these things you stack together! Yes, I have tried. I had to! It will still be the same as using your headphones directly into your device. Overall, this is a very simple and very effective product which I will keep for a long, long time. Don't hesitate. This is perfect for sharing your music with your friends! And such a good idea!

I got this for my nintendo switch so i could listen to music and play at the same time. I like listening to my own music and driving around in car games. I tried 2 other products before this one and it didn't work. This one works perfectly. I connect the splitter output to my switch. Then connect my phone to the splitter using a cable. I can hear music on spotify from my phone and the game sound effects very clearly.

I purchased this because I was looking for an affordable way to listen to audio inputs from both my laptop and digital piano at the same time through one set of earphones. I was pleasantly surprised to find no distortion from either source and (To my admittedly non-audiophile ears) no particularly noticeable drop in sound quality. However, there is a noticeable drop in volume from each source compared to having earphones plugged directly into each device. Not the end of the world, as I just turn the volume up (Maybe by another third on each device), but something to note for anyone considering a purchase. Overall though, I'm very happy with it. Solidly constructed and easy to use (Just plug and play). Happy to recommend.

I recently bought a new soundcard for my PC and as I use headphones, speakers and an earpiece mic for the work I do, I found the soundcard didn't cater for all of these devices simultaneously. Not wanting to continually reach round the back of the PC to swap output devices I bought the Belkin Rockstar. I was expecting a reduction in sound quality, some hiss/static, etc - but the sound quality is as good as if just one device (speaker/headphone) is plugged directly into the soundcard without a splitter. No signal loss at all. Cannot fault this product; excellent sound quality, no impairment at all, I have speakers, headphones and earpiece + mic (mic not through rockstar though), all running simultaneously. If you're looking for a 3.5mm headphone/speaker splitter with no loss of quality that is a solid robust build/durable product, then I'd recommend this product. It comes with an extra 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack to add a second input device for "mixing" purposes, although I haven't tried that, and it turned up the day after I ordered it.

Fantastic - arrived 4 days early which is always a plus. Has 5 sockets which mean you can potentially plug in 5 headphones / speakers / or any combination of the two. One thing I was worried about, since it's not powered, was significant volume reduction due to it not being powered, but having plugged in 5 sets of headphones and listened, it's not a real problem. There definitely is some volume reduction due to the sound being split between the headphones, however it is not huge by any means. The splitter also gives you the option of plugging in another Audio device, such as another iPod, and mix the music together, with fade-outs. A neat feature, but not something I can see myself using. It's worth noting this does come with a suitable cable (3.5mm Line in) cable to allow you to do this. Overall a really good product, and I can't fault it. It does exactly what it's supposed to and does it really well. Excellent job Belkin!

I was a bit dubious of a splitter with this many outlets but Belkin is an established company & I didn't think they'd push some rubbish out to make a few quid so I thought what the hell. What came surprised me. The splitter itself was plastic but felt robust & quality. There we no rattles or anything loose. Each socket was gold coloured (plated I assume). The cable coming out of the almost Apple White splitter is pure Belkin green & feels robust (unlike certain fruit flavoured chargers) There was an extension 3.3-3.5 which again I assme could be used to extend the distance if needed. As for sound quality I bought this as a cheap work around for a pair of Roket 5 active monitor speakers. I use an XLR lead into each speaker into a 3.5mm stereo jack. From there I use the Belkin splitter & the Belkin into the headphone socket of my 2015 Macbook pro. The reason I use the Belkin is that other people can plug headphones in & there is no discernible loss of quality. It my use which it pretty extreme it works a treat so I'd lay good money that you wont be disappointed in your purchase, what ever your use is.

Good handy gizmo! I like this and am pleased with it but think that it's a shame the input cable can't be unplugged for replacement, rather than through away the whole thing when the cables had it's day.

Buscaba un duplicador para diversos auriculares para que los peques pudieran escuchar la misma peli sin hacer ruido y este fue perfecto al tener hasta cinco auriculares simultaneos. El sonido no se distorsiona y he probado hasta 4 a la vez y funciona perfectamente. Práctico, sencillo y económico.

Works like a charm, has superior build quality, there is a slight audio drop when all ports are connected but none if your listening to a laptop or higher power output device .
