My homeschool resource book says to dry pellets in an oven (x temp, x time) to eliminate parasites, has this already been done with these?

Heat sterilization is done more-so to end the lifecycle of pests that feed on the pallet, all part of the food chain. There are very few bacteria that one needs to worry about. How many come in the pack?

It looks like one comes in the pack according to the bottom of the package. A different company has taken this one over since I bought mine for my class.

How long after purchase can it be kept before it needs to be dissected? I would like to order now but will not be used until mid July.

just keep it in a dry cabinet or something and you should be good. they’re really dry and i have to rehydrate mine to dissect them anyway
