Perfect mug for camping or everyday use...
This is a wonderful mug! I bought it as a camping mug, but I've ended up using it as an everyday mug while overseas. It does a good job insulating liquids...the outside of my single walled Snow Peak mug tends to heat up very quickly (duh!), and the contents tend to cool off rather rapidly...this keeps my tea hot long enough for me to finish it leisurely while never getting so hot I can't pick it up. It does get toasty right after putting boiling water in, but not hot enough to burn me. It's also easier to drink from than the single walled mugs since the lip doesn't heat up quite so much. I do have a set of Hot Lips for my single walled mug, but they tend to fall off or get sandy/gritty when outdoors...I like not having to deal with that. Like the single walled titanium mug, you don't get a metallic taste when you drink, either. Finally, while I haven't eaten anything from it yet, I've drank water, tea, soju, and gatorade from it (and several combinations thereof), and all it's taken is a quick rinse with water to clean it out with no smell from the previous contents... As to construction, it's well made and very understated. The pictures on the Amazon website do it justice...the outside is smooth to the touch with just a hit of texture, while the inside has more texture, but is not rough. The only seam is on the rim weld where the outside meets the flared inner cup. They did a very good job of smoothing the weld line...it's uniform, small, and very smooth. Overall a fantastic, if slightly pricey mug for camping or everyday use. I haven't tried to actually crush it, but the outside is plenty stiff. It probably wouldn't stand up to dropping a 50 lb pack on it, but I don't foresee accidentally crushing it when it's packed. I'll definitely be checking out their other sizes!

The best cup in the world
It's a virtually indestructible, eco minded, beautiful cup... it has already paid for itself with free coffee from generous hotel personnel, airline stewards etc. Everyone in the world should own one - just don't lose it! Also it's amazing the contrast between how hot it keeps the beverage and how normal the temperature is on the outside of the cup - I guess the magic is titanium with vacuum between. Incredibly light weight which seals the deal -- no excuse not to bring it with you. You won't regret it.

Lightweight premium insulated mug
The primary reason you should consider this mug is due to its weight, of mug is 3.5oz (99g) and lid 1oz(29g). This mug nests in my Toaks 750ml for making coffee (nesting is a loose fit, however a perfect place to store a drying cloth). For, "coffee outside," I pair this mug with an Ortlieb Coffee Filter (a terribly named pour over device) and the GSI Javamill. I been happy with this mug in the backcountry and I have also started using it every morning for coffee inside. I stopped using my stoneware mugs because this isolates so much better in my cold house. Be forewarned, mug doesn't seal and will spill if you place it on the wrong rock, but thats not why you should buy it. Keep in mind this mug is twice as expensive as stainless alternatives and your more likely to get a secure lid from a hydroflask/yeti/klean/etc product, however these will weigh 10-14oz. Carrying this mug is not ultralight, but nests and is the lightest/most premium option on the market.

wonderful cup
I have bought this cup in all sizes but the smallest and I want that one too. It's great for coffee tea soda water brushing your teeth anything but you need the right size for the beverage. The 450 i only use now for cereal. The 300 or 200 is much better for tea or coffee unless it is REALLY hot tea, in which case the 450 is the best bc you can blow the steam off. Whatever you drink will taste better and stay hot or cold much longer, esp in appropriate stackable cup. Snow Peak rules. Why can't we make titanium in America? Japanese craftsmanship is superb, way better than crappy america standards. Remember when made in the usa was the best stuff in the world back in the 50s and 60s when we used to have factories in this country?

Yup!
I bought this as an Amazon Warehouse deal and mine has a tiny dent near the base which actually endeared it to me - it's a distressed jeans equivalent. I'm English, so all kinds of non-soda drinks are a big part of my daily life. English tea, herbal tea, tasty adult beverages.... In the morning I want a mighty cup (I have a Yeti behemoth that keeps 20 oz of tea hot for a couple of hours) and in the evening I don't. This little H200 cup is slightly bigger than a juice glass and my hand wraps very nicely around it. No metallic taste. It's lightweight, very well made, robust for travel, and simply a joy to use!

Buy if you need a Ti lightweight cup that can be stacked, and is doubled walled. Do not buy if you are looking for a vacuum insulated thermal cup, because its not vacuum insulated. Watermarks are also rather visible.

The cups arrived really fast, well packaged and got an extra one for free, very happy with the order!

Die Snow Peak Titan-Becher sind einfach ganz hervorragend verarbeitet ... aber leider auch sehr teuer. Trotzdem ist es weder der Erste und wahrscheinlich auch nicht der Letzte den ich mir gönnen werde.

A guy a work said it looked like I was drinking from a roll of duct tape, but I'm liking it.
