Replacement fitting
The light in our shower cubicle was a 30 watt bulb and when I replaced it with an LED bulb it strobed (flashed on and off) after it had been on for a minute or so due to the wrong transformer for LED. This light was the only bulb in our entire house that wasn’t LED so when I saw this replacement for £28 I decided to get one as it was fitted with an LED bulb and matching transformer. It literally took me an hour and a half to replace it with the hardest part being getting in the loft to detatch the hose and disconnecting the electrics from the old one. Then I simply did all of the reattaching of the hose and the electrics through the existing hole in the shower cubicle and pushed the hose and cable back through and tightened the two fixing screws that open up the two securing clips. Before seeing this I was considering getting an electrician to quite to do this work, but anyone with any sort of DIY experience will fit this in no time. Great product and highly recommended.

Exactly what was needed!
Previous one the fitting had rusted out so bulb not working. This was fairly easy to install, now LED so cheaper to run and the chrome cover looks great.

Great replacement. Recommended.
If like me you have an (4") extractor fan and the light part has failed, this will fit as a replacement without the cost of buying a whole new extractor. Fitting was straight forward simply removing the two wires from the old halogen transformer and wiring in the new LED driver, the bulb is stated as 3w, it seems a lot brighter which is absolutely fine by me. Chuffed to bits with it.

Fair priced shower light for an existing extractor fan
I've had an in-line shower fan with a down-light for years, the light used a 12V halogen lamp, that despite always having air drawn past it by the fan had seriously caused the plastic body to 'decompose' - time for a change. I was pleased to find this incorporating an LED lamp, I was almost expecting that I'd have to buy a a complete package including a fan, but not the case. This feels like a solid enough piece of kit & is simple enough to install, for ease I extended the two wires before feeding it through to the ducting. I also fed the wires tight to the side of the spigot & wrapped some insulation tape around them. The lamp is not as bright as a 35W halogen lamp but is certainly enough for the job. One other point is, best to use stainless steel screws to fix in place as my previous one had since rusted. (**** Edited 1.5 years later ****) The LED driver / transformer recently failed in my unit due to a resistor on the circuit board blowing, I considered swapping it out & soldering in a replacement but I didn't have a spare of similar specification around. As it appears the circuit board is stuck into the casing I imagined that too could suffer further damage in trying to remove it so on that basis I sourced a replacement driver. (If I cannot quote the link it I'm sure it can be removed....) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BMBKHC2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The suppliers only give 12 months warranty. I honestly thought that I would get more than 1.5 years form the component but such is life.... If it was an excess heat issue, as it is sited in the attic, I would have expected it to blow amidst the recent very hot weather but it has been cooler now for a number of weeks.

Decent fitting , bright cool white LED
Relatively easy to fit , fitted in a 104mm hole cut in a plasterboard ceiling along with a Vent Axia in-line fane. There is a Choice of chrome or white trim that comes with the unit along with a 240v / 12 v transformer for installation in zone 1 in a bathroom. Comes with a MR16 LED bulb that is very bright and cool white in colour.
