I have a brand new intenso 1tb HD with no external power supply, but it doesn't seem to recognise it ..! Any ideas

Are you powering the media player through USB or the AC adapter? because I found that if its powered through USB itself it can't power the HDD, has to be plugged in proper. Hope this helps and good luck :)RegardsPaul

Does it come with a remote control?

Yes it does Amy. I would not say its the easiest to navicate as its small and nearly all buttons black. So its a good job you only need a few. But its still great piece of kit.

Mine can't play mp4 files that are +7gb in size. simply says 'can't play file!' on screen. anyone else had the same issue and know the solution??

Can someone recommend an external Hard drive that works with this device ? it needn't be 1TB in size or anything 250GB would suffice
