great for storing hot cooking oil
This oil can has been helpful for holding hot cooking grease. Once the oil cools you can transfer it to a plastic container for disposal. The strainer is good if you want to separate the fried particles from cooking so you can use the oil again. It is a good size for reserving cooking oil for later use.

Handsome Design
Simple container that looks and works well for straining fine particles. Literature accompanying this item states that it is made from cast steel but I have my doubts about that.

Excellent canister for holding fish oil, has a mesh strainer which keeps the oil clean plus a holder for keeping the hot oil from damaging the surface. Holds lots of oil. I would recommend this product.
