This has been the perfect addition to my room. I am able to get fresh water every day. The heating element works but I do not use it that often. I have not noticed any mold or parts breaking off. The item itself feels a little flimsy but as long as you don't move it to much it will probably be fine. The taste of the water has not changed at all. The value for money on this product is amazing.
