Bikes are super easy to mount and dismount given the rubber strap design. We drove it over 200km on one of our 4 trips with it so far, and had no issues. We used the included additional strap and our bike lock for additional stability. Fortunately, due to covid everything was sold out. I always thought that the hanging carriers looked like a pain to set up. I WAS WRONG! I can insert the rack, load 2 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes, run bungee cords through the tires and put on the safety straps in just over 4 minutes. That’s start to finish! The rack is built extremely well and so easy to assemble. So far we have used this rack about 5 times and have travelled anywhere from 20 to 100 km with it on the back. So glad we made this purchase!
