My steering wheel has often been too hot to hold during this heat wave. I tried the concertina type of shade before buying this one. It was half the price but too small and awkward to use. I like the pop up style of this shade. The small size shade fits the windscreen of my Peugeot 2008 perfectly. I start by getting the bottom of the shade in place and found using a clothes peg to hold the material together around the wing mirror was a help at first. The car obviously still gets hot and the steering wheel gets warm but nowhere near as hot as it gets without using the shade.
