It took ages to ripen, but when it did, it had flavour to it (unlike buying the already ripe ones which have no flavour). I am pleased with the purchase, and would buy again.

The plantain were green, fresh, and healthy. They were big and the package arrived on time. This is the second time I buy these, and I am glad I gave the seller a chance. Thank you. They also ripen gradually, allowing for in-between yummy semi-mature plantains with which to make Tajadas. I have subscribed. I hope the seller won't send me small, unripenable pieces, as I do enjoy to see them gradually ripen. I want healthy, well-harvested plantains moving forwards. I like my plantains big, ripenable, and healthy.

Arrived early and was packed properly It is indeed green ! Description is 100 % correct 👍

unfortunately yellow and a bit mouldy (white fur) on arrival, box was very bashed and open in places. most of the plantain was edible after cutting out blackened portion however as it was ripe was a bit too sweet for its intended use (fried plantain).

Good quality plantains

It has been almost 3 weeks since I bought these and not one has ripened!!! They are immature and probably will go bad before they are ripe. I bought all green ones this time because the ripe ones arrived mostly squashed (but were bigger).
