The Dero Solaris Slim H2 is an awesome little space heater. It’s whisper quiet—you can barely tell it’s running, even on higher settings. For its slim size, it puts out a surprising amount of heat and warms up the room fast without taking up much space. It’s also packed with useful features and feels well designed and easy to use. Powerful, quiet, and compact—exactly what I was looking for.

I am a travel nurse and I live out of furnished finders when working. When I had to find housing last minute after a terrible experience with a landlord, I found a listing for an older home that had been remodeled and it looked very nice in pictures and in person. It wasn’t until after I signed my lease and moved in when I realized that the house did not have a central HVAC system. This was because of the age of the house. The only thing that heated and cooled the house was a wall unit that worked fairly well, however, a winter storm hit and frigid, “ arctic”, temps came quick. The wall unit could not keep up and kept going into “defrost mode” and when it did this the house got cold quick. I began looking for heaters, I wasn’t a fan of the thought of depending on one because I know they can be dangerous. I ran across the Dreo brand and saw that they had many positive reviews and features I was looking for. Auto shut off if the unit was tipped over, thermostat control, oscillating, remote controlled. I caved and bought this model for the living room area, and two smaller models, one for the bedroom and one for the bathroom. When they came I was shocked at how small they were and was skeptical about if they would even be worth it. These heaters are small, but the heat and power they put out is not and they do a very quiet job of it too. So quiet that I at first didn’t even know if it was on and blowing until I felt the air myself. They not only keep the house warm in addition with the wall unit running, but I have noticed I don’t have to run the wall unit as much, it takes the work load off from it, and I’ve even had multiple times where I have had to turn the heaters off because the house gets too warm. Another feature I like that I didn’t realize they all had was that I can switch them over to just a regular fan mode and it circulates the air. Very nice, very powerful, and very nice looking as well. I highly recommend this brand. They saved me and my pups from freezing to death this winter.

Very pleased with this heater. Puts out alot of heat and is very quiet. Bought one and worked so well, we bought another. Love the ECO feature which regulates a set temp. Large bed and bathrooms.

It warms up surprisingly fast—within just a few minutes the room feels noticeably more comfortable. The heat distribution is consistent, and I like that it doesn’t dry out the air the way some heaters do. Noise level is another big plus. Even at higher settings it runs quietly, making it great for nighttime use or while working. The thermostat and timer functions are straightforward, and I appreciate the built-in safety features like tip-over protection and automatic shut-off. If I had to point out a drawback, I’d say the power cord could be a bit longer, and the highest setting draws enough power that you’ll want to make sure it’s on its own outlet. Not deal-breakers, but worth noting. Overall, a reliable and efficient heater that delivers on what it promises. Perfect for bedrooms, offices, and smaller living areas—especially if you want warmth without noise.

This thing is awesome. I have a small office at work and it keeps me toasty. Quiet and heats up fast. I don't normally write reviews but I've had this thing for over a year now and I'm impressed. Worth every penny.

This has been a perfect addition to our boat's living areas. The unit heats our large (~144 square feet) poorly-insulated area quite well, even with single-digit outside temperatures. We like that we can select the temperature we want to maintain. We don't use the timer function, but it's nice to know we have that option. As a plus, the automatic shut-off safety feature helps set our minds at ease, especially when things get a little bumpy aboard because of high seas.

I bought three of these and a smaller Dreo. All of them work great, better than any space heater I've ever used. They were life savers during the recent two week cold spell where the rental house wouldn't warm above the 40's. The range of options on how to run these heaters might explain some of the problems users have reported. You can choose to run them constantly or you can set them to use a thermostat. I have bought a half dozen of Consumer Reports top-rated space heaters over the years but none were as quiet or powerful as these.

Great little heater. Very quiet, especially in H1 mode. Kept a 460 sf. room warm with out side Temps in the mid to low 20s.

J 'en ai déjà un personnellement j en suis très satisfait , la j'en au recommande un pour ma fille . Elle vient depuis peu de l utiliser , il fait son job ..il devrait la satisfaire comme le notre . On verra avec le temps . La télé commande est un plus 👌

Vraiment efficace, léger, chauffe rapidement. Convient parfaitement pour mon grand séjour qui gagne 3 degrés en 30 minutes (8 degrés dehors le matin). Je m'en sers uniquement à la mi-saison avant de mettre en route mon chauffage au gaz ou pour en réduire la consommation. Je l'utiliserai aussi au printemps. Télécommande et oscillation pratiques. Diverses fonctions disponibles. J'en ai acheté un petit de la même marque pour une chambre ou la salle de bains. Vraiment pas déçue et pas d'odeur de plastique chaud à l'allumage ( mauvaise expérience avec un appareil de grande marque allemande et piètre performance, cher). Une bonne surprise. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Bonne marque que je recommande.
