My 2nd grader was having difficulty understanding an analog clock, so we got him this timex watch to help. We got the blue one with sharks. The details are great! The word “minute” and “hour” are printed on the appropriate hand, and the numbers are written out for the hour (and the minutes along the far edge). It’s taken the confusion out of learning to tell time. Like others have said though, the band isn’t good. It’s stretchy elastic that feeds through the sliding buckle. The little teeth kept it in place for the first week. Then after that it kept slowly sliding out and loosening up. It fell off his wrist a few times. Now he stopped wearing it since it won’t stay on. I plan to fit it to his wrist and sew it, since nothing else we’ve tried is working.

Got this for my nephew who loves dinosaurs. The watch face is easy to read and aides children in learning to read time via dial and hands. The numbers are actual numbers not roman. The hour hand has a Dino head on it and both minute and hour hand have the words written on them for identification. The colors are very cute. The size of the watch is just right for a 6 year old. The band is stretchy enough for comfort but wont go loose. It can stand some wear and tear ( needed for kids). It is easy to put on and take off. The kids can do it themselves. There is no tongue (stick that goes through the whole) like on adult watches. Over all, a loved gift!

My son loves this watch, the soccer ball instead of second hand is great and less confusing when just learning to read a watch, but the strap 'clasp'/threader doesn't hold for more than an hour. So proud to take it to school, came home in his coat pocket because it just kept falling off. I'm going to have to stitch it in place which sort of defeats the purpose of an adjustable band. Hopefully I can hide the stitches in the pattern of the band. Such a disappointment when every other feature was well thought out. Can't recommend as a result. If they can't wear it, what the point of buying it.

This kids' watch is fantastic! It’s the perfect size for little wrists (5 year old kiddo), super durable, and easy for my child to read and use. The design is fun and colorful, and it’s helped my child learn to tell time so quickly. Highly recommend!

My 8-year-old daughter was still struggling with learning how to tell time on a clock despite doing workbooks on telling time. She loves pandas, so when I saw this watch, I jumped on it. Within a day of wearing this watch, she had mastered telling time!! The hour hand is marked "hour", the minute hand is marked "minute", and the seconds are indicated by a little panda - these features were helpful for learning how to tell time on an analog watch. The watch is very cute, and the elasticated strap is comfortable and adjustable. Highly recommend!
