They are not stretchy. They are similar to petrol station gloves.

Can I handle hot takeaway plastic tubs after loading them with food.

I don’t think these would be suitable for HOT object handling. They are not especially thick. Best I can describe them as they are similar to the disposable gloves you find on garage forecourts to use before pumping petrol or similar to the free ones you get in hair dye packs. They are great for jobs around the house, dealing with kitty litter or taking the bins out for example but nothing more robust.

I've just compared both types of glove and the spontex one are a little wider than the hair dye one but the finger length is about the same. Both are a bit big for a woman's hand but they stay on just the same. From Mrs FM.
