The quality is great yet it is light to handle. We have used the knife for cutting soft food, raw foods and cooked meats. The knife has a nice edge that glides through foods making it super easy to cut. The handle is solid but light and is comfortable to grip. I also compared it to one of our Henkle knives and found the AllStar Knife cut the meat with greater ease.
