SodaStream Art Sparkling Water Maker Bundle in Black, with 3-Pack CO2 and Carbonating Bottle

Hubby and I like to drink sparkling water, but are concerned with the cost and environmental impact of buying so many, one-time use bottles from the grocery store, even though we always recycle them. We finally decided to try this SodaStream machine. So glad we did! Initial cost is seems high, but the resulting savings is worth it. And, we have fresh, sparkling water any time...we never run out! Easy to use, this SodaStream ART bundle comes with an instruction booklet, one 1-liter water bottle, and three cylinders. Set-up is simple, and no electricity is needed. The side-mounted pump lever is a huge improvement over the top pump button; as you can see in my photos, the device fits nicely on the countertop, beneath the cupboards. (FYI: The distance between my counter and the bottom front edge of the cupboard is exactly 17 inches.) Suggestions: 1. Purchase only SodaStream brand water bottles and CO2 cartridges for the best results. 2. Check out SodaStream's website (sodastream.com) for their recycle/trade-in program for the cartridges. Much, much less expensive way to purchase replacements. Good for the environment, too. In conclusion, the SodaStream ART machine is a fabulous investment for those who like to drink a lot of sparkling water.

The full line for me is too full to use- overflows- I fill half way and do three full pulls. I can tell it’s done as it has a small hiss and you can see the vapor inside. If I filled to full at the line and it actually didn’t go everywhere- probably would take 5-6 pulls to carbonate like store bought. Giving it a four because of the inability to fill to capacity line without a mess and also if I did fill it would use a lot of c02- only been using a week so can’t tell you how long the canister lasts. I do love the carbo taste though- using my filtered water it tastes almost sweet.

Had to replace my last one (just really old) and this one is great because you don’t need to plug it in and you can adjust the amount of bubbles so much easier now!

We got the Sodastream because we are senior citizens & the 24 packs of Diet Pepsi were getting too heavy to carry. Initially I thought we would save money but we have found it costs us about the same as buying the cases of pop. It’s just more convenient for us. I do wish it had A&W diet rootbeer though. Their version of rootbeer is horrible.
