BORUIT U6 Flashlight

This flashlight is great. The V10, V20, and V30 from Boruit are all multi-tool lights. They are quite literally like the Swiss Army knife of flashlights; they have different features and functions which is the biggest appeal with them, in addition to their size. However, they are also a jack of all trades, master of none. The U6 doesn’t have as much multi-tool functionality as the other lights in Boruit’s lineup. Specifically, you’re gonna lose the UV light, laser, swiveling head, buzzer, and additional light colors that the other Boruit lights have. However, in trade, you’re gonna get more of an actual flashlight with the U6 compared to a Boruit’s other EDC multitools that follow the same principle I mentioned earlier; “Jack of all trades, master of none”. The U6 is great in terms of design. The magnet is nice, and the clip on the side is a really nice feature I never thought I’d want but one that I really appreciate. The 6 different LEDs allow the flashlight to dissipate heat slightly better, because that means each LED is dealing with less output (and therefore less heat production) than if you were to force, say, two LEDs to get the same output. In terms of brightness, the U6 is the brightest light in Boruit’s entire lineup, and it really is a little beast. At turbo, I was very pleased and do believe it lives up to its claims of 1.6k lumens. The side lights (white and warm white) are also bright, so much so they overpower my phones flashlight, which is not something I could say about the side lights on the Boruit V10 or V20. The interface is a bit wacky coming from mainly using Anduril 2 lights but it’s simple to memorize and learn, and isn’t a complaint of mine. Battery life and charging speed are a bit of a mystery though. I charged it once and it hasn’t needed to be charged then and I’ve done a night of testing it against other lights I’ve owned. The initial charge was fast (under an hour) but I presume the battery was not completely empty to begin with. So, for customers still reading, if you’re contemplating buying a Boruit light, ask yourself, do you want a multitool EDC light or do you want an actual, dedicated EDC flashlight? If your answer is the latter, the U6 is right for you.

This is an absolute cracker of a torch. Nice mix of flood and throw, with great mode spacing and solid performance in a very stylish package. But what stands out is its sheer versatility and features: front and side lights (cold, warm, red, and flashing red), a magnet, and a deep rotary two-way pocket clip. This light is my first EDC choice and I use it for almost everything: 1. As a lamp next to my bed when reading 2. Stick it on the door frame with the side light on to illuminate the entrance 3. Scout my backyard with the front light 4. Attached to my cap brim when camping to set up the tent, etc 5. Stick it on my car to illuminate the garage 6. Clipped onto my backpack with the red flashing side light on while riding my e-scooter. It's FANTASTIC. Not an expert myself by any means, but I've tested performance to great results. For those users who point to short battery life, the battery surpassed the 1.8H mark on high (800lm) and went off after 2.3H! Medium (160lm) topped 4H! The warm side light lasted 7H! The torch exceeded all spec run times in every test I ran. One thing to note, though, is that it drains the battery to 30% fairly quickly, giving the impression that battery life is not good enough. Still, it can run for another 2H on the front light medium or cold side light before going off. So, when the battery indicator goes red, I know that I have at least another 2H of service without panicking. I would say that output is a little bit overstated, especially high and turbo. Still, this is an absolute winner. Ordering another one soon to keep in my car and advising everyone to buy it!

This unit compact and powerful. Plus the clip has a good amount of length to clip to and stay on a pack.

I’m very disappointed with product. I’ve owned products or models previous to this one and they were awesome but this one especially disappointed me in the battery life. It did not hold up to the standards has guaranteed to not buy this product.

One of my favorite flash lights! I have an older version but this thing blows it outta the water! Very bright easier modes.. good stuff!

This flashlight is extremely bright with 1600 lumens of light. It is great for outdoors and the side lights are super useful.

Double click to red flash, double click to turbo, and the clip makes this the perfect light for night time visibility. I use this light for dog walks, candle light, lamp, working on car, and daily use around house or yard at night. It just needs a black & white lanyard to make it perfect. The charge time is a little slower than I like but it's fine. All other functions on the light are EXCELLENT. battery life is good when on medium or high for 1 night, turbo drains it pretty quick. Waterproof, shockproof, best value out there, and small enough to clip in a pocket out of the way. I bought this for the short stubby size.

Very compact and easy to carry. This mini flashlight packs a big punch when it comes to brightness.

I purchased a bunch of different flashlights ranging in prices from 40-100$ to try and find the best flashlight for my needs. This one has met and exceeded them all. Fits great on a hard hat clip, great versatility in ways to wear it, strong magnet, light. Hits all positives. I'd buy 10 if it came in a metal Casing, but the plastic keeps it light. Best bang for buck light i could find. Buttons are also easy to understand and switch between features.

Neat, compact and easy to use. Projects a bright light beam on full power. Easy to charge up. Build quality seems O.K.
