I also, did not use it for it's intended purposes. This is perfect to hold my 5ml ink sample vials! I've been looking for something sturdy and this was it. Not only economical, but i love that it has a lid and comes in the smoky clear color. I am going to decorate it with stickers. I'm sure it's also great for ammo though.

i got this for my boyfriend, he likes it! Easier than getting them out the box in a rush, the box wears and tears this is sturdy and he takes it with him every hunting trip!

This product is quite functional and great to organize a variety of types of shells. The price was good too.

It’s a nice sturdy box. It definitely holds 25-12 gauge rounds. However, it needs work. If you want a box to store shells in your closet, this will probably be what you need. If you want a box to carry out in the field, this product is lacking. The only point to keep it closed is a clamp on one side. If you drop the box on a corner the box has a good chance of popping open and dumping your shells out on the ground. Since there is no loop for a strap, you can’t sling it over your shoulder so you can carry it around securely.

Perfect size for 5 ml cryo vials, I use them for smokeless powder for muzzleloading but from other reviews there's many uses. Not just for shotgun shells. For some reason you can't just buy a container for the vials you have to improvise.

The price is right and it does its job well.

Unlike a lot of folks, I'm using this box for it's original purpose - the storage of gun cartridges. For this it's perfect. You cannot see from the listing images, but the hinge of this nicely moulded box is properly pinned, and not just a flappy tab of plastic that I feared might be the reality at this kind of price. But I needn't have worried. This is a surprisingly well made, sturdy, high quality box. In terms of neat, secure and ordered cartridge storage inside my gun cabinet, I cannot think of any better solution. Highly recommended. And yes, they work well for batteries too.

excellent storage box, well made and hinged so it should last for a long time, this one is much better than the clear plastic shotgun boxes but then again it is more expensive, i have both and this is the one I would recommend. Cheers.
