Exceptional value for a modern microscope
Works well. easy to use right out of the box. Works perfect. Has sharp clear 4.3 inch color screen , takes pictures and videos. I think it is a very good deal. I paid $33.I purchased it on Amazon. It came right away the same day. screen is Clear and bright and easy to use a fun tool/toy for sure ,it is cool. It came well packaged and unbroken. I would highly recommend this microscope for a beginner scope only because I want a more powerful one the next step up . they are so awesome I want another one ,the more powerful one ,same company although ,I would definitely buy it again . it would make a great present . There is another world its a small world , and now I can see it yippie! also the more expensive ones are a lot more expensive but they have three lenses versus the one lens like I purchased. if I had to describe this product in one word it would be "FUN" it's also functional I can see the condition of my finger nails and skin. That has an adjustable light wheel with lots of light and the focus is easy and smooth to turn Producing a sharp clear picture. I really like the ability to scroll through the pictures that I have taken in this microscopic world. it charges up nicely and the battery last a long time which is rechargeable I am old school where I have used microscopes that you put your eyeball up to that lens eyepiece most of the time unable to see anything. This is so modern and easy to use amazing!

So far, so good.
My scope just arrived late yesterday, so other than assembling it and turning it on for a few minutes to see if it worked, I haven't had time to truly evaluate it. What I can say is it's really quite amazing that technology has reached a point that a product like this could be delivered for the price I paid. Is what I see on the screen good enough for it to be useful to me? For now I'll say yes, as I plan to use it on my workbench to do watch repair, so I don't need something that can handle fast moving video scenes. The scope has the ability to show magnified views in three different resolutions: VGA (640), 720p and 1080p. Obviously, the screen isn't very large, but it's sufficient for my use, and the quality of the video picture is reasonably good, especially for the price! The view on screen doesn't lack for enough light, as the scope has a ring of LEDs around the lens and they're bright. There's no shadows in the picture from misaligned lighting elements, and despite just about everything on the scope being made of plastic everything works as it's supposed to. The entire setup is very light-weight, but it's relatively stable in use. The base on mine had a minute amount of "side-to-side" rock to it, which I "took out" by setting the base at the edge of my bench and pressed down a bit on one of the corners, flexing the two pieces of plastic used to make the base. I believe this worked because the two plastic base pieces are most likely "snapped" together, not unlike how so many laptop PC cases snap together. The difference on this scope is there doesn't seem to be any screws in the base at all, while laptops have a large number of screws. So how did flexing the base allow the scope to sit flat? Using a snap-together case with no screws to lock things in place, the two pieces of plastic can move a very small amount against each other when you put some stress on them, like what happened when I allowed one corner of the scope's base to hang-off of my bench and then pushed down on it. The base probably went into the shipping box with a flat base, but by the time it arrived it must have gotten bumped and the base may have slipped a little, leaving the slight rock to it. Regardless, the base is now flat, the scope is stable and unless something changes with it, I expect to get a lot of use out of it on my workbench. Does it have the best magnified picture? I'm sure it doesn't, but honestly, for the price these scopes are going for, I don't think you can beat it. You can pay a lot more on some other scopes and you probably won't get any better than what this little one does. If you want an inexpensive way to look at small things in a much bigger manner, give this Elikliv scope a try!

The microscope is a good buy.
This microscope works like a charm! It can be used for any items you want a closer look. The clarity is great & has adjustments that make it ideal. Easy to set up & use in a few minutes. It also can be connected to your computer to have a larger screen. We haven't needed to use the computer yet because it works great. It's also fun for kids to look at items under a microscope. We are completely happy with this microscope.

Decent for the Price – Just Keep Expectations Realistic
I think this is a decent product for what it is, but don’t expect a high-end microscope. I wasn’t looking for professional-grade quality, so I’m not disappointed, but I do think buyers should be realistic. It’s frustrating when people expect $1,000 performance from a product that costs around $30–$50. You’re not paying for premium equipment here, and that’s okay, just be realistic about your expectations! I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, who’s currently into coin collecting. He didn’t specifically ask for a microscope, but I thought it might be something he’d enjoy. For the price (under $50), I was actually pleasantly surprised. I opened it early to test it out and make sure everything worked before gifting it, just in case I needed to return it. The assembly was simple, and I tested it using a penny. The zoom/focus works well, and the screen is surprisingly crisp for this price range. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. First, the stand is a bit wobbly. The microscope camera is lightweight, but the plastic base is even lighter, which makes the whole setup top-heavy. Even small actions, like adjusting the zoom, pressing buttons, or repositioning a coin, can cause it to shake. For some users, that might be annoying. Personally, I don’t think my son will mind it, and I'm sure he’ll figure out how to work around it. Another minor issue is the height of the stand. It's fairly short, so you can’t get the entire coin in the field of view, even with a small coin like a dime. You only see a cropped portion unless you reposition the coin multiple times. However, the included manual suggests a workaround: turn the camera facing the other way and place the stand on top of a book (or stack of books) to raise the overall height - it includes pictures in the booklet showing you how to do this. This allows you to view the entire coin in one frame and then fine-tune the focus for detail. Overall, it’s a solid beginner microscope for casual use, especially for kids or hobbyists. Just manage your expectations and understand what you're getting for the price.

Excellent for the price
Bought two of these one for my work partner one for me. His worked great out of the box, mine wouldn't charge correctly and the battery icon on the screen would go from full to one bar in a matter of seconds. I sent it back and had a new one within days, so if yours doesn't charge don't fret, send it back. I haven't messed with the photo or video capture at all but it is awesome for checking coins and cards. It does feel a little lightweight which could be considered cheap but I don't feel like it needs to be that rugged so for the price you can beat it. Zoom works great and the light is handy. Clarity is excellent. I prefer this over my "inexpensive" loop.

Much better than expected
I got this for coin collecting, it works great! I honestly wasn't expecting much. This was one of the first ones that popped up in my search, so I kept looking at other versions but the reviews on them were pretty questionable. So eventually I finally came back to this one, and I'm glad I did! The price was like 35 bucks I think? It's definitely worth that. The couple of bad reviews on it we're just people who didn't take the time to figure out how to work it properly. It's pretty self-explanatory to use, it doesn't come with an SD card, but you can add one later supposedly, you just have to format it. This works plugged in or unplugged, and the charge seems to last quite a while, couple hours. Not bad for a screen and a light running Non-Stop. The light is adjustable from dim to pretty bright, enough for my needs. It takes a c charger like my cell phone so that's cool. You can actually remove the screen with the magnifying glass part and carry it around and use it wherever without the mount which is kind of neat. The mount is pretty light, and the knobs are plastic, so it's not like professional grade or anything, but it's perfect for what I need it for. I don't feel like it's going to break, but I'm not going to be throwing it around or anything. It seems like the clarity is really good, I kind of jerry-rigged mine so that I can put it up higher. I put some electrical tape underneath the camera adjustment knob and screwed down the mount to it , which raises it another three or four inches in height and shows me more of the coin if I would like. Then to drop it down there's a different knob in the back which takes you as close to the coin as I would like. Honestly it works really well. I should also say I've had this thing for about a month now. I have yet to be disappointed, of course I haven't tried the SD card feature yet because I have no need. Can't help you with any advice there, sorry! I recommend this whatever it's called, microscope screen thing.

Solid investment!
I recently purchased the Elikliv LCD Digital Coin Microscope (EDM4), and it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. As a coin collector, I needed a reliable tool to inspect the finer details of my collection, and this microscope delivered. Design and Build Quality The 4.3-inch LCD screen is bright and clear, making it easy to see the details of coins without straining my eyes. The build feels sturdy for its price point, and the adjustable stand is a great feature for getting the right angle and focus. Performance The magnification goes up to 1000x, which is more than enough for my needs. I was able to inspect mint marks, imperfections, and other intricate details on coins effortlessly. The image quality is sharp, especially when the 8 adjustable LED lights are properly positioned. These lights are a game-changer for ensuring consistent illumination, even in low-light conditions. Ease of Use Setting up the microscope was straightforward. It’s plug-and-play for both my Windows laptop and my MacBook, which was a pleasant surprise. I could easily switch between viewing on the LCD screen and using the PC view to save images or share details with fellow collectors. Versatility While I bought it primarily for coin inspection, I’ve found it useful for other hobbies like examining stamps and small electronic components. The adjustable magnification and ability to save images on my computer make it versatile for various tasks. A Few Minor Downsides The only thing I wish was improved is the height adjustment mechanism, which can be a bit stiff at times. Also, while the screen size is sufficient, a slightly larger display would have been a nice touch. Conclusion Overall, the Elikliv EDM4 is an excellent tool for hobbyists and professionals alike. It combines affordability, functionality, and ease of use into one compact package. If you're a coin collector or someone who works with small objects regularly, I highly recommend this microscope. It’s a solid investment for the price!
