I actually returned these before I opened them when I found out there was a 20Ah battery by the same brand. They have been working so well. They take a while to charge, maybe 7 hours if I had to guess, but we never lost battery power out on the water - which was a blessing. Review: They weigh 1/3 the weight of lead acid battery they can last 3x longer and they have more amps - I am confirming they fit a drive medical scout scooter that came with 2-lead acid 12 amp batteries. You must also buy a correct lithium charger. As of now I only instlled the batteries and have them charging.
