zidoo Z30 PRO-8K HDR Media Player, Amlogic S928X-K Processor 6G+64G,DV, HDR10+ Set Top Box,Android 11，BDMV/ISO，HDD Bay

Very well made player with a black aluminum casing and bright front display. It looks the part. It is slightly larger than it looks on photos. The playback quality is excellent in HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision as seen on a 65-inch 4K display. The user is in almost complete control of it through the plethora of option that even includes the option of playing regular SDr in Dolby Vision (I haven't played with this but it is there). It is at home interfacing with a NAS on a LAN. It is failry decent at pulling the metadata from TMDB but it can get it wrong and i have a couple of obscur movies that cannot be recognized even using the manual matching option. This is quite a puzzle as the same movies were recognized on the zidoo i have been upgrading from. IT would be great to be able to do a fully manual search using a computer and populate the poster wall this way. Another flaw is that it struggles to play videos with bit rates that are well above the typical 100 Mb/s of 4K blu-rays.

What can I say about this box ive owned the z10 z20 now the z30 greatly made products would recommend this to anyond who wants to just start out using and making there own digital library of movies

It was good just ordered the wrong one

If you have Plex(I have the free version)then it's not really necessary. I've seen videos of YouTubers ranting and raving about the upscaling. It's as good as other equipment,nothing to brag about. Yesterday I had a bad experience. Not sure what caused it but after setting up my music and movies. I watched a few movies. I stopped watching and turned it back on later last night. All my settings/saves were gone. After spending roughly an hour setting it up. I needed to redo everything. Needless to say I wasn't happy. I have all my movies/music on my Synology NAS as my source. So I set it up again and I'm praying this was a one time issue. I did goto the Zidoo forum and read that another guy had the exact same problem. So beware! I still don't know what happened but I do know the guy also had Synology NAS.💯🤷🏾

Very easy to use pretty much direct your movies to the zidoo and it pretty much does the work

It sounds good at first. And then you find all the bugs. It will stop playing movies you've watched before. The posters will just go away. The pause button doesn't always work. It causes the TV screen to blink until you power it off and back on again. Some movies you cannot fast forward thru. It doesn't always remember the spot where you left off watching. I could go on, but Zidoo just isn't worth it.

O produto não acessa Netflix, Prime, Youtube ou qualquer outra plataforma de Streamer.Apenas arquivos.Lamentável.

Ottimo apparecchio anche per la qualità costruttiva. Perfettamente funzionante per le mie poche necessità: riprodurre i miei film in formato MP4-MKV-AVI sul mio TV. Purtroppo, ha un SO ANDROID, che deve essere visualizzato su WINDOWS 11. Probabilmente per le mie scarse conoscenze, non sono stato in grado di effettuare il collegamento diretto (Windows 11 non lo vede nonostante abbia applicato le indicazioni avute da YOUTUBE). Ho dovuto acquistare un box lettore per HDD esterno da collegare al PC con cui travasare i film sull'HDD estratto dall'apparecchio.

Que penser du zidoo Z30 PRO-8K ?En 1er, les points positifs : Puissance de traitement, grande fluidité, image au top en DVD, Blu-ray et images. Interface intuitive qui permet de se retrouver facilement. Tous les formats sont acceptés sauf le 3D.En 2d : Les points négatifs : Le mode d’emploi en chinois et très partiellement traduit en anglais. Je conseille fortement à Zidoo de faire une présentation visuelle d’une installation complète (step by step) pour ce produit de très grande qualité.

As someone with a massive library of 4K MKVs (tens of Terabyte's) the Zidoo Z30 Pro has been an absolute game-changer.It handles everything I throw at it – Dolby Vision, HDR10+, full Atmos and DTS:X – with flawless playback and no stuttering, even with huge file sizes. I even challenged it with a 8K copy of Top Gun Marverick (Upscaled from 4K to 8K Topaz AI) and it played it effortlessly without a single stutter.The interface is clean and customisable (love the poster wall), though the metadata scraping isn’t perfect (The latest update seems to have fixed a lot of the issues and bugs).Still, once set up, it’s like having my own digital cinema. The ability to had your family members or friends a iPad with the movies for them to pick and one click and it’s playing is just incredible. No more scrolling Netflix till you find something you want to watch.Network streaming from my NAS is seamless, and the silent, solid build the device feels premium.The local harddrive bay is great for storing my favourites, or possibly if you want to take the player with you on holiday.Whilst it isn’t cheap, if you care about quality and own a high-end AV setup, and have a large collection of movie files on a NAS or laying around on harddrive…. the Zidoo is absolutely worth every penny.
