SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick 32GB Flash Drive (Black)

Positives : A best pendrive money can buy. This wireless storage is for mainly for iPhone users. Amazing performance guarenteed. I got this 2 days back and till now i tested in many ways and i did not see any problems. Pc usb speed is 12mbps ( upload and download ) wireless speed is 4-5 mbps which is pretty good . Very compact, battery run time is around 3.5 hours to 4 hours. Led indicators are present in pendrive which shows you battery status , charging status, data transfer indicator, flimware update indicator. Looks beautiful . Both iOS and Android apps available. Battery charging time is below 2 hours. Negative : iOS app needs more updates, some bugs are present ( just small bugs which are not a big deal ) video player in app is simple . Need more options. As the drive is usb2.0 it is slow while copying large files (12mbps in pc , 4mbps in wifi) Finaly , For those who run out of storage in smartphones, this is for you ! Just go for it.

I love the wireless capabilities, plus having 128gb at your control is just awesome. The build quality is really superior. I purchased when amazon was running the discounts on memory sticks and hdd....so it got it for a steal. Size wise the pendrive does feel a bit bulky and slightly heavy, but it is agreeable as it has a wifi port and battery inside. But becareful while connecting it to a pc as it really stands out and poses a risk of getting knocked off, which i believe will break the pc port but not the pendrive. :D Design is beautiful and the pattern on it gives a good feel and grip. The cap has a metal insert which assures a lifelong tight fit and reduces risk of losing the cap. Giving 4 out of 5 stars as its not USB3....wish it was. Please vote positive if review found useful. SanDisk Connect Wireless stick is undoubtedly the best & innovative gadgets I have purchased in the recent times. Found it extremely useful for my iPhone as I am able to instantly use externally storage without any hassle which otherwise is not easily possible for IOS devices. We can a) transfer files between iPhone & SanDisk bothways, or b) just play the audio / video files stored sandisk without copying onto iphone, or c) cast any video content of sanDisk to TV using Chromecast through phone. iPhone I just gave as an example since I have iPhone but this stick is perfectly compatible for use with literally any smartphone. Ofcourse we need to install an app for doing the above which is not a problem.

Awesome storage device, if you own a 16gb device, this wireless stick is a must have device you needed. Buy it without any second thought you gonna love it. Build Quality is Awesome, feels Premium. Easy to manage data, some quite good features, like you can connect it to your router so that you can access data while connecting to wifi. Two hours of charging is enough to watch full movie in 720p. Very fast data transfer while connecting as direct USB-device. So at last if you planning to buy it just order it without any second thought, after getting you going to love it.

This a great product for people with iPhones with low storage capacity and for those people with no otg compatability.let me divide this session with pros and cons. Pro's: 1)build: high quality material,gentle,sleek,light weight 2)battery: it has a pretty good backup takes about 90 minutes to charge and has about 5-6 hours of live streaming time 3) can connect upto 3 devices at a time and can also be used as a pendrive 4)uses a sandisk connect app which has all the basic features 5)can be protected with a wifi password Con's 1)disconnects occasionaly 2)customer service is obsulate 3) transfer speed over wifi is pretty average General verdict: If you want a cheap storage extension device this does the job but if you want a more reliable one then go for other devices such as other sandisk wireless storage devices and kingston wireless connect IF YOU LIKE THIS REVIEW PLEASE LIKE AND SUPPORT ME

PROS: 1) Looks good and snazzy 2) Wireless option to connect securely with a password to the device as well as connect this device to an available wireless network and access it through the network 3) Decent battery life 4) Can automatically backup iPhone camera roll and Android pictures CONS: 1) Is not USB 3.0 which results in lower transfer speeds and use of old technology for a futuristic product 2) Only works on 2.4Ghz. Again older technology used for a futuristic product. With 5Ghz wifi available and the latest devices supporting the same, you have to lower your connectivity bandwidth overall if you need to be able to use this product 3) Data transfer to this device is slow when connected directly to the device via the wireless mode and slower if connected via connection to wireless router mode especially when backing up large files 4) Preview of pictures (2-4mb in size) through the proprietary software is very slow and streaming of HD movies is really really poor Although I am a fan of Sandisk, this product is a disappointment as the main feature of this product and the price is wireless connectivity and portability and with emerging technology, this product fails miserably.

Works like a charm. Transfers from Laptop-to-Wireless Stick-to-iPad, And the other way round (iPad-to-Wireless Stick-to-Laptop) happen seamlessly. Very good product. Make sure you download the correct Sandisk app to your iPad -Sandisk has at least one other model of a wireless stick which needs a different app. I have been using the earlier Sandisk wireless stick (32 GB), which also works well. However, this stick is better designed (more compact, better looking, less bulky), the wireless switch-on button is smaller, better placed and located.

This product work as advertised/mentioned in the description. This will work with iPhone, iPad and Android devices without much issues. I'm using it mainly with my iPhone and iPad for storing and playing mp3/video files. The time taken to connect to this drive and scan and list out the files from this drive on our device will depend on the device processing capacity. My iPad is newer than my phone. So iPad will scan and list out the files much faster once the drive is connected over wi-fi. Few points to be noted are as follows; 1. The iPhone/iPad app is not very stable. It crashes sometime. UPDATE(20-Jul-2017): After many updates the app is very stable now 2. You can copy the files (music, video, docs) to your devices but you cannot access it from the stock apps for music/video. You can access the copied files thru Sandisk 'Connect Drive' app only. 3. Sandisk 'Connect Drive' app contains a music player which is fine. But the problem is that it won't scan and list all the music files from the drive like a MP3 player. It won't have the provision to create playlists. NOTE: To play the music you have to navigate to the folder in which you copied the mp3 files and select the any song to start with. It will play the files from that folder and it stops. Or repeat(if u chose to repeat) with the songs from the same folder. It won't go/jump to the songs from the next folders. Usually we keep the music/video files in many folders based on the movie name or album name or artist name in our PC. When we copy the files from the PC to this disk in the same way, the above problem occurs. Else, we have to copy all the music to a single folder into this drive and select that folder from the music player. But navigating to each and every folder in PC and copy paste the files is a hassle. UPDATE(20-Jul-2017): After I updated my apple devices to iOS 10, It started disconnects frequently and make this drive useless. Contacted the Sandisk Customer support and even their solution didnt work beyond 1 day. After lot of seraching in google, saw a solution in one discussion forum. And including that workaround for everyone help. Do NOT use DHCP IP address, use Static IP address instead. Press the power button for 15 seconds to reset the Wireless Stick, once its reset connects the iPhone/iPad to this drive’s Wi-Fi. But DO NOT open the app just yet (very important). Write down the DHCP details - IP address, subnet mask, router and DNS and copy all these details to Static IP setting and use Static instead. Then open the app and enjoy.
