**Q: Is this made of 100% silicone without any fillers?**
A: In fact, it is not a solid core. Item developed a tiny crack near the end that dripped a surpringly copious amount of a highly persistent tarry substance, like oil, but not soluble with ordinary detergents.  Stained wood and clothing, had to be rubbed off hard surfaces. PCB's, perhaps?  I'm afraid I ingested some.  Company stonewalled two requests to explain what the substance was.   Still pursuing an explanation.

A: The company is in France, items manufactured in China (like everything!)

A: The whole spatula is approximately 10 3/4 inches.  Handle approximately 7 inches

A unibody silicon spatula is an awesome idea because it means three things- - It won't fall/pull apart when you use it in a really thick batter - It's way easier to clean than a two piece spatula with a wood handle because silicone wipes clean and can be dropped in the dishwasher for sanitizing...and it doesn't have any crevices that can be super annoying to clean - It won't melt if you need to use it in a pan because silicon is awesome I find it to be sturdy, with just the right amount of give to get dough out of bowls or stir eggs in a pan...It's a super useful tool in my kitchen and my only complaint is that it doesn't magically replicate itself when left in the utensil drawer overnight. Stupid universe always disappointing me.
