Review: Awesome for teen girls and their mothers! - I've read all of Kari's books -- and they've ALL been such a huge help in raising my daughter! This latest book (devotional) is a super relevant guide to for any girl or young woman navigating life in today's world that constantly encourages comparison, which then leads to self-doubt (thanks mostly to social media). Kari is like a trusted friend and mentor to me. As a Christian, I appreciate her book's Biblical truth, combined with her relatable, down-to-earth stories that she usually pulls from personal experiences with her own four daughters. Kari touches on pressing issues such as social media anxiety and self-image struggles to friendships, loneliness and faith. Personally, I've also enjoyed the journal space at the end of each entry, to reflect, journal and answer her thought-provoking questions. Kari's books have been my go-to for Mother's Day, Birthday, and Graduation gifts. Review: Great girls devotional - I have been using this with my daughters as well as for a girls Bible study group. The lessons are relatable and the questions are great for reflection. We have enjoyed it!

Great way to start the day with your daughter.
I love this book. My daughter and I read it during breakfast before school. Honestly, it hits home just as much for me as it does for my daughter on many mornings because the struggles girls face are many of the same things adults deal with. I really like that she has thought provoking questions at the end of each devotion which makes the conversations easier when we finish. Perfect way to start a school day!

A book that will speak to your daughters
I have read all of Kari’s books. They speak to the heart of moms, grandmothers, aunts, godmothers—if you care about someone navigating this crazy world—Kari refocuses the lense and reminds us of our true worth- we were created by and belong to God. The truth is simple but putting into practice can seem daunting—THIS DEVOTIONAL is written for teens/young women in the throws that f life—a wonderful tool in providing a foundation of seeking God’s truth found in scripture and applying to our lives. My daughter doesn’t necessarily want me to tell her what to do or how to do it—she wants to figure it out on her own—and this devotional guides her in that journey. What I love? It speaks truth and speaks my daughter’s language. It emphasizes she isn’t alone—in her struggle or in her life. It gives easy practical ideas/situations to consider and reflect upon—but thoughtful enough to truly get to the heart of hurt and hope. It challenges her to be the best version of herself, despite what’s happening around her.

A great gift for the teen girls in your life!
I have relied on Kari Kampakis' wisdom for years (through her other books) in parenting and mentoring teen girls, so I knew this devotion would be fantastic. I was not disappointed! Having raised four daughters, she is able to convey Biblical truth in ways that high school and college girls readily relate to. This devotional would make a great gift and is perfect for a high school girl who wants to grow closer to Jesus and build a daily devotional habit or a graduate going off to college.

Oh so relevant!
I have two teenage daughters and one is about to leave for college. The topics are so relevant and truly promote kindness, love, and spiritual growth. The passages are just the right length with real-life stories and scripture. There are reflection questions included if you want to dig a little deeper or turn it into a group study. I even enjoyed reading it myself, as a mom. These are topics that are important to reiterate not only for me, but in my daily conversations with my girls. As an added bonus, the cute colors of the book cover look pretty on their nightstands!

SOOO GOOD!
A friend with daughters who is from the same community as the author recommended & she was right!! This has been SO good to do with my 11yr old! We’ve taken 2-3 nights to do each “day” and have only done the first few days, but it’s been such a blessing to have to facilitate these types of conversations. Even if my daughter hasn’t experienced a particular issue, it has led to her sharing related observations or experiences that have been so good to talk through with her. It’s always nice to have another “voice” that backs up the lessons we want to teach our kids, lol, and this author goes above & beyond!

Wonderful!
So thankful for this devotional! I have three girls and love all of Kari’s books for my girls and myself. Her wisdom is so refreshing. I’ve wanted an age appropriate devotional for my girls for years and now we finally have one! I love the length of each days reading and the intentionality of the lessons. Great topics that really relate to girls these days. Thank you Kari for another great read!
