Its unique double-twisted construction allows customizable thread thickness, making it ideal for all embroidery techniques. Tested for durability against friction, sweat, and water, it offers vibrant colors and lasting quality for professional and hobbyist crafters alike.

## Description

Anchor stranded cotton is a high quality 6 count embroidery thread made from 100% long staple Egyptian cotton fibres. Thanks to the extra long Egyptian Giza fibres and double mercerisation, a special shine, unique softness and an intense light reflection. Each single thread is twisted twice. The flexible thread pitch of the Anchor stranded twists allows you to always remove the desired thread thickness without having to unwind the strand completely. Thanks to this feature, Anchor embroidery floss is best suited for all types of embroidery techniques. Anchor stranded cotton is ideal for cross stitch on different thread count fabrics, but also for free embroidery, tapestry and other counted embroidery. Anchor stranded cotton is tested for friction, sweat and water resistance. Plain-coloured yarns can be washed up to 95o and multicoloured and ombre yarns up to 60o. The yarns are dyed according to international standards in terms of washing resistance, as well as light and friction resistance.
