Levi's Women's 501 Mid Thigh Shorts

These are my all-time, absolute favorite shorts! I have been complimented and asked where they are from more times than I can count and they are the ultimate mom shorts. I ordered a pair last summer and fell totally in love that I order these whenever they go on sale. I have light and dark wash shorts and they are my go-to shorts. I love the quality and even after TONS of use they hold up incredibly (they are Levi’s after all). The range of colors is so cute and there is truly a color or wash for everyone. The fit is great, make sure to double check your measurements correctly as these are high wasted and you want them to fit properly. I haven’t noticed any shrinkage or damage to them after washing and they still fit as great as the first time. Since these are higher waisted they do come with multiple buttons to make sure the shorts stay closed. My only minor complaint is that sometimes them middle buttons slip out but that’s probably more from excessive wear than anything. Overall, you NEED these shorts. They are so comfy, have great pockets to hold a phone or whatever else you need, and I guarantee these will get you loads of compliments. Love these and recommend to anyone!

Well...to start I ordered the one size larger..cuz it said runs small..my take is order your regular size!!!! So I got my 32's..and its PERFECT!!! Very well made and sturdy..will last a looonnng time..so worth the price..an investment piece..it gets softer as you wear..love the high waist..I'm a mature lady..but young at heart..good shape..so I don't want frumpy..these are a great length..classic..for reference I'm 5'4" 165 to 170..42 35 42 1/2...a size 32 in most Levi's and Wrangler. Size 12

I gave these three stars because although they seemed authentic and of good quality, the sizing if horrible. I have several items from Levi's brand and these were unusually small in the waist. I am 5'6" roughly 198lbs., carry my weight in the middle section (apple shape), and fluctuate between a size 14 and 16. I wasn't sure about what size to get because of the various reviews so I decided to order a 33 and a 34. I was about two inches short of being able to button the size 34s. To get a size bigger would be out of the question because then they'd be too big in the hips and thighs. Too bad because they seemed like the perfect shorts, not to short or long. Maybe they are just more suited for a slender or pear shaped person.

In reading many other reviews, I was under the impression that these would run very small. I’ve experienced other Levi’s shorts that did run small, so I originally ordered these two sizes above my normal size. Note that the color was the Pleased To Meet You dark wash. When those were way too big I tried ordering again only one size up and still too big. So I ended up making a third order of my normal size and they fit perfectly. I’m wondering if it depends on the color, which you would have no way of knowing if the color you wanted would run small. I gave 4 starts for lack of clarity on sizing, but otherwise these are great. Super flattering, they are perfectly high waisted and hit at the right spot on the thigh to make legs look slender and long, are a good length but don’t look like Bermuda’s. They’re 100% cotton and do have a little give in the fabric, and aren’t as stiff as I was expecting based on other reviews. Very comfortable. Love the button fly.

I wear a lot of levis, and these are a horrible fit. They are rigid and never broke in. Still uncomfortable after 2 years. Going to goodwill. Doesn't feel like these are real levis (I see tags are all in Chinese). I already ordered a size up and to no avail

These shorts have become a staple in my wardrobe! This summer I was freshly postpartum and wanted a pair of shorts that I could walk around and feel comfortable in! They are the perfect length to cover my bum, and they also cinch at the waist to make sure you’re really snatched in there! A quick note to consider is that the front has several buttons and no zipper, so that is something to be mindful of if you prefer a zipper closure.

Super cute, VERY inconsistent sizing. I usually wear a size 10 in pants. I ordered these in a 32 and 33 to have them loose and they’re skin tight. Have to return. Any other jeans I have from silver, gap, quince, free people are all 30’s.

The button fly it out of alignment. So the top button won’t even fit properly. Shocked these are actual Levi’s and not a dupe to be honest
