I tear down a lot of power tool batteries for testing and quite often screws are deeply recessed, too far for a regular 1/4" bit to reach in holes too small for such bits and cordless screwdriver shafts. I got these bits for the exact purpose of reaching those specific torx screws. On the plus side is that these bits also have the center hole so they work for "security" torx screws as well. I've been using this set for about a week now, mostly just the T10 size, and I'm very happy with their performance so far. The bits still look new. The included storage strip has held up well also, it holds the bits but not so tightly that they're hard to remove when you need them.

Nice for the money

These came well packaged from Amazon in a group of other items I purchased. I do a lot of construction so I was glad to get so many for such a low price. They drive the screws just fine. The only problem is that it says that they are magnetic, but they are not. However, they are able to be magnetized which I do with a little magnetizing device (see video). These appear to be very durable and they should last a long time. I’ve driven a few screws with one bit and there is no deformation of the star bit at all. I really like the 2 inch length and I also like that they are clearly marked with a T 25 on them. I do recommend these bits.

I needed a set of slim security torx bits and decided to buy these since they were one of the lowest price sets with an extended shank. I've been using them for a couple of weeks on electronics repair projects and they're great. Good fitment, every size I could need, and zero issues.
