A small transfer pump that works well.
This is a great small transfer pump. Works excellent with a hand drill. Very simple to use and does a great job on transferring fluids.

Functioned as needed
This item seemed small but it functions very well. Used this to pump water from a large water barrel in to several 5 gallon buckets and it did it in a suable time. It was easy to attach to a drill although holding the drill was a bit of muscle work on the hands when fatigue sets in. For the situation used for I would say that it was worth the purchase.

A waste of your money!
Very disappointed in this product. I had hopes it would be perfect for clearing water out of areas we work in around irrigation valves. But today (now TOO LATE to return it!) I trued it out and it doesn't have the correct fittings to do anything. The piece of garden hose is nice, but it's a male end, not a female, so you can't hook it up to the pump! And the small tube connection fitting just blow off when you turn the pump on. Utterly useless! I did check the suction and the pump does seem to want to work. Since I am stuck with it I'll get new fittings so it is actually usable.I would not recommend this to anyone! In my picture I show 3 circles. The upper two show the male thread inlet and outlet of the pump. The smaller circle in lower left corner shows the end the hose... also male thread end. The males don't naturally connect to other male ends. The people who put this product into a package obviously didn't field-text it first.

Hidden Parts. Good, Not Great
Other reviewers have complained that the clear plastic hose was not included in their shipment. I thought the same thing when I opened the box, until I realized the smaller hose is hidden inside the larger garden hose piece. I needed to run water through the garden hose to retrieve the smaller clear plastic hose. If you don't remove the smaller hose, it is small enough to travel into the body of the pump and jam up the mechanism. Some reviewers have complained about finding plastic fragments in the discharge fluid. I suspect this may be fragments of the clear hose grinding up against the impeller. The device otherwise works as described. You need to hold onto the pump body to keep it from spinning, so this really a two handed operation. The pump rate will depend on the speed and power of your drill motor. I have a basic rechargeable drill with medium speed. The pump was probably moving 1-2 gallons of water per minute at this speed. This was OK for my job, but it would take a lot of time if you're trying to drain a larger volume of fluid.

Worked well while it worked
Looking at other reviews, for this and similar, maybe I should have disassembled and greased it. As it stands, I used it to remove a couple gallons of dirty water out of my boat's bilge. Then added vinegar and water, a few gallons' worth, and left it to soak for a couple hours. Removed that and then sprayed the bilge down with some water. It removed about a gallon more before it stopped moving water, simply spinning and warming (but not smoking like some reported). I now have a metal variant for $10 more on order.Worked with an 18V Bosch drill, lifting water three or so feet to the pump and another two to three on the outflow side.

Great little water pump
Other than not including hose clamps, to hook up garden hose. This pump is amazing for the size. It was absolutely thrilled with a performance. I was able to run my drill on high, and it pumped water

Easy to use and inexpensive
Love this thing. I use it to transfer pottery clay water out of buckets. Flawless. I use a battery powered drill so there is nothing to plug in. Simple and effective

Drill makes water flow!
This pump works very well. It emptied 2 55 gallon drums of water faster than I ever expected and functioned exceptionally well
