M7 Max works perfectly for me

Quite possibly the best resin printer ive ever had. better on every level compared to the last anycubics ive had. everything worked straight of the box. yes ots costly and large and you can hear the fan, But who cares. it does everything i need and now i can do things bigger. also the vat top up amd drain actually works on this one. the vat heats up quick. its just better in every way.

Great machine

Good quality machine, I have 5 various machines from anycubic, all are without a problem over years. Although this machine is heavily marketed on speed, forget the numbers unless you buy fast high speed resin ( extremely expensive) and want to spend hours fine tuning settings. For my use, it is perfect, I use anycubic ABS pro2 resin, regular settings without pushing, no complaints. Ask yourself, do you want to pay a premium, for the same printed item so you will have it an hour or so earlier and will you be ready to immediately run the next part?

Great SLA Printer for all home printing

The media could not be loaded. This printer exceeded my expectations. Setup took less than 20 minutes and I was printing within the hour. To setup need to plugin in the 12V power supply, turn on the switch, install the build plate, level it, add the resin to the vat and start a print from the included USB drive. By the end of the day I had 2 successful prints and the details on them is incredible. Layer lines are practically invisible, there is no 'ringing' or artefacts whatsoever on the surfaces. The door has magnets to hold it in place when closed and it openes up and flips all the way round so it is out of the way for access. Full access in the front as well as the top. Sides and back are static and do not move.It comes with all the tools you will need (including a very nice and flexible scraper that you will use often), a bottle of resin and 2 spare FEP sheets.Print time is around 20mm per hour depending on the settings you have used. I'm getting about 16mm with 0.05mm layers with my current settings - different resins seem to cure slightly differently. When I printed with 0.02mm layers the print time increases but the thiner layers need less curetime per layer. The printer has a quite resonsive touchscreen that is an OK size and resolution to use. It gives a visual preview of each print making it easy to see what each one is and as it is printing shows what the current layer slice looks like along with the percentage completed and time remaining. You can tweak the settings on the fly throughout printing as well and pause it. The fan is not too noisey and the moters are relatively quiet as well. You can certainly hear when it is running howeverBecause it prints upside down inside the vat of resin it can be hard to know if the print is failing or not so when you pause it the bed moves up enough so you can see it and also far enough so you could remove the vat/refill it if you needed to.You are going to want to have some IPA to clean the finished prints of liquid resin and also some kind of UV lighting to finish the curing on the prints once they are completed. I have some UV grow lights which worked fine for this but I also tried just sitting them outside in the sun for a few hours and that works great too.The difference between this and FDM printing is that the level of detail from the ANYCUBIC Photon S is much much higher than any FDM printer I have ever used. You can get very tiny intricate details and print things that are impossible for FDM - such as voids that are semi enclosed. Supports for SLA prints are quite interesting as you don't not need them for structural stability - they are only needed to give something for overhangs to start printing from - which means that empty spaces are a piece of cake for this printer and you won't have to go digging into hard to reach spots to remove support material.

Great first printer that goes a long way.

Simple to setup and start using. I've had it for a few months now, and although it worked great for all that time, the LCD screen has died so it is out of action while I await a new one.On that note, Anycubic have been great, very responsive and sorted out the replacement parts after a few tests. An example of almost perfect customer service (delivery time is a bit slow). The printer itself produces great quality prints in both clear and coloured resins. The interface is super simple, and if you use Anycubics software for final compiling, it allows you to use the cloud printing which is great!I would recommend this as a good first printer.

Photon m5s pro

Cannot say a bad thing about the printer for price point, amazing quality prints but if your planning on printing a large item as I did which filled the print volume buy a bigger printer. For some reason the printer does not like printing vertically and even Amy cubic state to tilt the print up to 45 degrees when printing overhangs, trying to print my model was very expensive 15 KG of resin and only one successful print. Now don't get me wrong there is no better printer in my opinion, but I was trying to print a model that was probably to big for the printer. When printing smaller items the printer was flawless.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

DO NOT BUY THISWhere do I start on this pile of rubbish?First off.. I have had this set up by someone that has been 3D printing successfully for years.Let's start with the Pros:The build print size is big.Umm.. That's itCons:Out of 5 Plates, 4 have failed. And I mean FAILED on a high level. I am not printing anything big, just around 40mm high, and yet, they still fail. The exposure has been set every time and still fails. Now, when a print fails, it is not a simple case of "oh well, I will just do it again. NOPE!!! You have to take off the case, remove the autofill unit, take out the main tank, drain resin, put tank bank, do a full exposure to harden the remaining resin, carefully remove cured resin, put it all back together, fill tank with drained resin that you have filtered. Then do another print. Now, when you think about it. A print can take around 8 hours, now multiply that by the 4 failed plates and that is 32 hours of wasted time, resin and my patience. Is there an alternative? Yes, Buy Elegoo, I have had the Mars pro for ages, guess how many failures I have had with that one? NONE!!! Not one.Support from Anycubic? NONEDo not buy this printer or anything from AnycubicUpdate: After 6 months and 10 prints. The LCD screen failed. I contacted Anycubic who told me I need to buy a new screen (£228) That the screen is NOT under warranty. Guess how long a LCD screen warranty is.... 3 Months!!!!! AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY AND STICK WITH ELEGOOThey will not be responsable for faulty parts
