The line up gives you a choice of colours and limited edition models with wood front panels 19 different beat patterns Choose from 0-9 beats per measure with a choice of duplets, triplets, triplets omitting the middle note, quadruplets, and quadruplets omitting the middle notes, for a total of 19 built-in beat patterns. The tempo can be freely specified in the range of 30 to 252 beats/minute. The KDM-3 covers a wide range of genres from classic to pop, jazz, and Latin. Review: Pricey but really good - Summary: I wanted some of the features of a digital metronome (subdivisions, adjustable volume, etc) but cannot stand the digital beeping noise that all those I've come across tend to have. This has several mechanical type 'clicks'. Whichever finish you go for, this is a lot to spend for a digital metronome that isn't a super sophisticated drummer style gadget which is programmable. The limited edition brown wood effect version is more. That said, I am glad I got the wood-look one as it's very pleasant on the eye and has a more natural, organic vibe to it.
